imo the reason behind all this that ea confined us to a "set plays" kind of playstyle rather than actually developing a unique playstyle for each person like irl u see teams that play tiki taka others play counters other abuse crosses but in fifa there is no playstyle there is set plays that u need to do to offer u a scoring opportunity and all this is because of the bad servers and the heavy connection that literally handicaps people and make them unable to play their own unique playstyle , if the gameplay is decent then even park the bus meta won't be a thing because then u could pass ur way around it or use certain skill moves or try crossing the ball to a tall striker like what happens in actual football matches

For me the worst mechanic in this game is that algorithm that gets triggered to help the losing player every damn time. You attacking and defensive AI turns to shit while your opponent gets everything. Same shit with getting a red card, it’s never an advantage to play with 1 extra player 😂 because the game makes the other 10 man team so strong. Game’s broken idk who made this shit up. And I’ve played enough games to feel my AI being weaker or stronger.
