I love how the entire Infinity Train community is just lusting over a couple seconds of Amelia. If we ever get Book 5, we are all going to be dead by the end of that.

Theory time that you should totally make a video on because I'm too lazy. Those gravity boots aren't actually gravity boots. People have made that assumption because that's how Simon's boots work, but let's really break this down and think about it. The use of the boots seems to be, in the past at least, used to incapacitate passengers. When One/Amelia controlling One appears to the boys, each time their boots cling to one place. This is the real purpose of the boots. Notice that they never actually use the boots to climb stuff. They could have done it to climb up the party tower and they could have used it on the maze to get to Morgan faster. They didn't. "But what about the baking car with Pig Baby? They used the boots to jump up to the cook book!" No, they didn't. Remember the Unfinished Car and how Tulip, without boots, was able to defy gravity by jumping up onto the upsidedown stairs? This is the exact same logic. Gravity in this car works differently and they were able to utilize it, but it wasn't because of the boots! And really think about it. Why would One give passengers boots like that? The idea was that it would help keep them safe while traveling, but boots like that could be used to break puzzles in the cars and ruin the entire purpose of the car. Passengers could climb up to the tops of the trains. Why would One do that? He wouldn't and he didn't. What purpose would it have served for Amelia to remove the boots if they were a benefit? She acted as if it was a good thing to remove the boots. Because to her it was, it meant that no one could control them and stop them from progressing into areas they probably shouldn't. In truth either Simon or some unknown person REVERSE ENGINEERED the boots to defy gravity, essentially the opposite of what they were meant to do. Instead of keeping the passenger in place, he was able to have full control over when and where they work. Uuuuuntil they broke.

The conductor noise makes me think back to season 1's "The Crystal Car" when One-one is singing. And it only took me 3 rewatches to realize that it was foreshadowing

Do you have any theories on Samantha/The Cat, because she's obvious one of the most important denizens considering that all of our protagonists for each book have interacted with her at some point in their journey now.

one of the things that is interesting is that Amelia's reasons for taking control of the train may have been more complex than just ressucitate Alrick. The way One was treating the passengers may have been one of the reasons she felt she needed to take control Also, it seems she was panicking while taking control. I'm not sure she had the intention that it would go that way. I'm asking myself if she could have taken control because she became afraid of One.

The fist episode made me cry. I knew I was going to cry and I already got attached to the characters because of the trailers and stuff. The first episode already had me being emotional

It depends how far Ryan and Samantha are willing to go to “Seal the deal.” Though we would be getting way beyond simple levels of “furry,” and into we’re it blurred the line between “furry,” and zoophilia.

Based on the 4 Books and all the main characters, I think I have a theory for what happened with Amelia (sjsjks am i coping for no Book 5? maybe xD). In Book 4 Amelia is an idealistic person and wanted to individuate and humanize the passengers to One (who was colder per Tulip. "they'll die here" vs "their well being and progress is the purpose of the train" card from Book 3 after his experience as a denizen with Tulip). Book 4 era One views passengers like how Simon sees Denizens, nulls and numbers, and only interacts wit them during maintenance with Stewards, while after Tulip told him he helps them understand the train better with the instruction videos. She wants her and the others' agency recognized by One, similar to how Lake fought their way to the engine room, and I think she did that too, the original "i want to speak to the manager." And while he isn't as open minded as when he is One-One, he does accept Amelia's input, because his attempts for humanization has been feeble (eg: the Steward has a human face because so it may look human and 'relatable.' but of course... its a flaming mask in front of tentacles, it's not.... xD) or he just overlooks it (not caring about passenger's safety at this point, and the presence of creatures like the Docent/hand monster). ButI think that Amelia's desire to individuate the passengers is indirectly antagonistic Ryan and Min-Gi who's goal is staying together, but she thinks 'its for their best' and strips away their agency, but I think it roots from her trauma of codependency with Alrick that she doesn't want other ppl to suffer like her. Also Amelia has no companions in the engine room, and its a mystery. But I think it plays a part to why becomes.. like that Amelia also 'liberated' the train, possibly after being refused of brining back Alrick, as she was tempted by the power One has, yet she also frees the passengers from being bound by the trains' rules, AKA the structure that is meant to make them sort their problems despite its many flaws, which means that it also crumbles down the way for the other passengers to be able to get better. She was selfless but got tempted to power, yet is still idealistic enough to want to 'free' the other passengers, not aware that she is doing this without their agreement and basically stepping on their agency. So she takes over the train and sends One to the snow car for 33 years until Tulip arrives. One becomes One One and this is a mystery that we could only see if we have Book 5, tho if we're going with Simon&Grace=One and Amelia=Hazel parallel, then it makes sense that meeting Amelia shook his core principles and split him into two. And if we're going with a Ryan and Min-Gi parallel he may have split himself, maybe to give him company? Which would be an antithesis to Amelia's loneliness, her loss of Alrick, and lack of companion. As time goes, Amelia's idealism of 'freeing' passengers has gone away, and she becomes the robot conductor we see in Book 1, outfitting the last Steward (since according to Owen Dennis, all other ones were destroyed in the coup, and One One has to reuse this one in Book 2) with guns and as her main way of keeping order. Since Book 4 has no Ghoms, Amelia has a Ghom orb in Book 1 and it seems to be her main method of punishment. She created/accidentally made them, and then proceeded to release them in the wasteland, because she wants to discourage ppl going out of their cars and hinder her mission to bring back Alrick in Book 1. This would increase her numbers exponentially without going to the top like Simon and make the Cat fear her and her actions as well. This would happen before Grace and Simon entered the car, as their experiences are intertwined with the conductor and a ghom. Amelia's tragedy is akin to what Ryan would be if he continued to lack structure from Min-Gi, looking for ways to break out only to be stuck in the status quo, and also like Morgan, mourning a lost one, shutting out connections and severely hurting people. Book 1 happens and now she acts as a human version of a Steward and check for car maintenance, which is exponentially better than sending creepy tentacled robot to fix stuff while freezing the people in place xDD. ajkdkd anyway yeah this is how im coping with due to no Book 5

Hey, all of us bummed as hell that "Infinity Train" got cancelled, but look at it this way. Maybe more cautious animators would learn to how work with their crew members and have their show air internationally to get more recognition. Plus, we can always look forward to "Adventure Time: Distant Lands: Together Again"!
