Rather face Yankees? We always hit off your best pitchers, settle down and play who you play, you don’t want the Yankees especially when Cole comes back
Love your videos and I always forget to give you a like so I just went back over last 15-20 videos and did that. Gonna make a point this week of subscribing to your channel. Keep up the great work and go Phillies!!!!
Preller trading for dozens of quality players will still managing to have a very good farm system is something that needs to be studied. I feel like in the past few years they acquired nearly two rotations full of starters alone.
Tbh as a lifelong Padre fan and native Preller doesn’t do well with his hitting picks. But he has done a hell of a job acquiring pitching outside of Clevinger who was a bust. Getting King and Cease and filling in the bullpen when we lost Steven Wilson was impressive. If we could hit we would have so many more wins this season!
Bichette to Cleveland is so interesting because there are so many scenarios that could play out and is complicated so much by the draft. If they take Bazzana 1.1 they could trade for him and not worry about extending him and getting a comp pick back with the plan of Bazzana taking over 2nd and Gimenez moving to short in 26. If they go Condon 1.1 and they make the trade and extend him it could be a dangerous lineup by 26 or 27. I don’t think they would extend though because I think the money would just be adding to the short term payroll. It is more in line with what Dolan has done in the past. But it’s Cleveland and they have a habit of surprising people with what they do so who knows.
Just started the video. Thank you for rocking the jays cap. It means a lot to your Canadian subscribers. Good or bad it shows you respect us enough. Thank you from Canada Jim
When you look at how Blake Snell and Jordan Montgomery have started the season, I think free agent pitchers might be less inclined to wait out for top dollar going forward and miss out on Spring Training. I think when mid-January rolls around, they might tell their agent, "Hey, let's get something done".
It's got to be the owner not approving deals. They have made very few correct decisions when it comes to trades and free agency over the last several years.
@@michaelmacorso4479 Because in their minds, they have to keep fan favorites to put butts in the seats. They refuse to let go of Charlie Blackmon. God forbid you develop your young outfielders by playing them everyday. They’re likely going to extend Bud Black, too, which dooms young players because he hates to play them. The guy starts Jake Cave every single day so that Bouchard, Goodman, Beck and all the other young guys can sit.
I saw an Angels fan on Twitter say that Ward would be a perfect match for what the Dodgers are looking for. Do you think Arte would make a trade with his cross-town rivals after they took Ohtani from him? I have wanted the Dodgers to make a play for Tanner Scott since last deadline time.
One of the few weak points in our Yankee season has been a lack of punch out guys in the bullpen. Our closer, Clay Holmes, is a ground ball guy, not a strikeout guy and Caleb Ferguson has worked himself out of the circle of trust. The idea of adding Crochet has me salivating.
If mentioning Chisholm's injury history as a deterrent to him being traded I'd think you'd have to say the same thing about Luis Robert Jr. I don't think he will command the return the White Sox would want for him because of fears he'll miss time more often than he'll play
I’d bump my Braves a tier or two down. The record is good, but the last month has not. I can see us dealing Fried, Ozuna, and pen pieces, and trying again next year if it keeps going down the drain
@@mauriciohernandez324 he can play right field to keep him healthy. Plus Julio isn’t good anyway. It would be wise to have a contingency plan in center.
I've heard the usual suspects as far as availability goes. A couple names surprised me, like Crochet and Robert, but it makes sense to trade them. It should be a fun and busy deadline.
As mariners fan, hope M’s don’t deal for Roberts, bichette, or Guerrero. Alonso may make sense as a rental bat….think he is the only one that can do good at tmobile park
I saw the superchat, thank you?...haha. Mountcastle would break the single season home run record if he played every game against the Blue Jays. This man is the definition of fear...I'm crying
@@BALLCAPSportseven with o herne orioles not trading mounty....he anchors the offense agaisnt lefties plays good defense and they are trying to win a world series and he has a few more years on contract
Oakland shouldn't trade Miller because he's young/cheap. But, his value will never be higher than it is right now. There's injury risk. Relivers are volatile, good one year bad the next. So they definitely should trade him to maximize said high value. But they also shouldn't trade him. But they should.
Luis robert to orioles for package of mullins, kerjsted, and mayo or is that too much.....mullins gives them cf replacememt that could find his form and two top 100 prospets
Giants need to trade everyone but Ramos, matos, lee, walker, rodriguez, Camilo, Schmitt, Webb, Luciano,Harrison, Hjelle, winn, and Wade I’d even start Wisley at second . Trade Chapman, snell, Conforto, Yaz, and soler for young prospects and if only Flores had more value we could get decent prospects. Tear it down!!
Mariners are in a really awkward position. Pitching? A solid bullpen piece would be nice. Position players? Second base, third base, corner outfield are the spots that could benefit from an upgrade the most. Prospects? Plenty of trade depth! Money? NOPE! Ownership won't spend. And that is the crux of the Mariners difficulties; stingy ownership. Without some financial wiggle room, the team will be very hard-pressed to .ake an impact move.
I'll be a monkey's uncle before they put their 40m arm (DeGrom) into the bullpen. I can see the logic, I really can, but not with that contract. If just for the marketing, DeGrom is staying a starting pitcher. Nobody buys tickets based on who a team's loogy is.
The Mariners will add NOBODY, lol. They will be on the hunt for nothing. Us Mariners fans know how this goes. I don’t know why these writers come out with this BS.
