It's an inside joke that Lisa's bangs do NOT move when she performs. We theorized that she glued hers to her forehead 😂 that's why the girls asked how to keep theirs still.

So, there's all sorts of stuff you missed but that's understandable. The grades for example, it's not like she got an individual F grade that Lisa was putting on blast. The groups are put into letter grades, so you'll notice the signs they are wearing on their chests have letter grades on them. She is in the C class so she went from F to C. Another thing is when Lisa mentions "looks the same" she didn't mean their appearances she meant they are moving in sync while dancing. The show is a Chinese pop group creating survival show (aka they're eliminating trainees until there are a set amount left who become an official group). It's most recent season (3) was cancelled because of some controversies (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Youth_With_You_(season_3)#Controversies) and the finale was never aired and the final group was never finalized. I don't think it was open to random applicants off the street, especially not foreigners (like Americans) but I could be wrong.
