@@TommoMcCluskey daimler the parent company of mercedes has said that they would promote russel after his impressive race if lewis doesn't except their next offer. And i think they should do it. He only drives for the money and after this year with all his talk about giving people of collour more chance in racing and then to ask for all these outrages demands from the company who helped you to get into f1 is just disrespectfull.

All the preditable ones to be fair. The rest of it was pretty crazy. Don't think anyone can blame you for not getting that. Only extra one I got correct is Ricciardo to Mclaren. But everything else I didn't get.

My Predictions were awful. 🤣. I found a Word Document of my 2021 Driver Predictions. It's not over yet: Mercedes are apparently using Russel as a bargaining tool to try and unjustify Hamiltons expensive contract request. Chances are it'll still be Bottas Hamilton and Georgie will have to wait another year

This is funny because I already knew before January 2020 that Vettel was going to be dropped for Ferrari and so the most likely was Sainz/Ricciardo but with Ricciardo more likely going to McLaren, I knew it already. This was at 4th of January 2020, 13 days before this video.

11 out of 10 is great, no doubt, ;-) however, Vettel notwithstanding, I think your biggest miss was actually Bottas. You recognize Max's bad luck, and accurately note that without it, he would have beaten Bottas. But Bottas had some really bad luck in 2020 also, and without that, it wouldn't have been nearly as close for 2nd place. Bottas is racing with the arguable GOAT, in Lewis Hamilton, and consistently turning in second place--and occasionally beating his GOAT teammate. Sure, the car is awesome, but it would be hard to ask more of Bottas, and he consistently delivers! Bottas = most underrated F1 driver. If not for Lewis, Bottas would have two driver's championships under his belt.

Swap Albon for Vettel, and Vips for Yuki then I would’ve actually preferred your 2021 predicted lineup. That would look pretty good to be honest.

If only it was Schmacher with Magnussen.. or Hulkenberg, or anyone else really. Also, your AT seat prediction at the time was very sound re the young drivers. Tsunoda didn't really do much in F3, whereas Vips was best of the rest behind the Prema's in P4. If it was a level playing field between Tsunoda and Vips (no honda backing bias, they were both in F2 with the same team etc.) my money would of been on Vips for the AT seat. In saying this, Vips now has a SL and an F2 seat, so will wait and see what happens for 2022...

If it weren't for COVID, your Merc prediction would've been spot on. Only reason Valtteri is back in '21 is because the car didn't change. The new cars and regs coming in would've shaken a lot of these lineups and probably more in the directions you'd predicted. And Russell will be in the Merc in '22.
