This team literally came up from League 1 via the play offs and it's mad to think they could do it again in the exact same way to go back up to the Premier League
Those predictions were pretty solid. 4/24 dead on isn't bad in football, especially a league like The Championship. Add in the off-by-ones, most of which are mid-table anyway, and it went quite well. I'm surprised with what Tomasson has done with Blackburn. My expectations were pretty similar to The Irish Guy on that one.
Bringing the daily mourinho news to the Irish guy Roma played against inter Milan last weekend where Jose refused to put his main players on the pitch. Dybala. Smalling. Wijnaldum. Tammy Abraham. All on the bench. Instead jose played some of the academy players. This resulted in a 2-0 defeat. After the game jose totally took responsibility and explained his decision "We don't have a team that can play for 2 objectives. We can't get top 4 and win the Europa league so I decided to throw away top 4. This is a decision I took after we qualified for the semi finals in Europe. So I stopped putting my main team out in the league because I'm only focused in the Europa league. So today I'm extremely proud of those who played. They gave inter a hard game and inter for me is the best squad in Italy. So no worries. We're gonna try to still have decent results in the league and finish in the top 6 but our only objective now is winning the Europa league and if we don't then I take the responsibility for throwing away top 4 and if we do win it I will be a genius Roma are currently 7th. 5 points away from top 4 and they are playing the first leg of the semi finals against Bayer leverkusen next Thursday at home
@@NIDELLANEUMSarri usually throws European competitions away though which is more common for managers to do. Jose is one of the few that will throw league challenges away for European glory because he's obsessed by trophies and he will take a European trophy over top 4 any day. I'm sure he would even take a European trophy over 2nd place

This is Irish Guy's best performance yet. Are we just seeing him enter his prime as a football soothsayer? Championship is impossible to predict and this guy smashed it out of the park.
*Spoilers* He LEGITIMATELY predicted 4 OUT OF 6 teams correct for Promotion and Relegation. Getting 3 of those perfectly spot-on... honestly, with how the Championship is... thats near perfection. Well done The Irish Guy!
This was a really good year for predictions. 11/24 teams within 1 place and 4/24 exactly right is pretty difficult in a league where a team you think could make the playoffs can easily end up in the bottom 3.
One of the better table predictions I’ve seen from ya up to now and I can understand why you got Sunderland wrong I remember being happy with your predicted place because we’d be safe but Mowbray has done a magnificent job since he’s come in
I'm a Watford fan, it sickens me how I feel but I am so tired of the pozzo family that I am actually happy Luton might get promoted to the prem... With Rob Edwards, who Watford took from Forest Green with the promise of giving him time and changing the club culture of rapid fire management. We gave him 12 games. Then he takes Luton to Third! Urgh.
I never believed West Brom would get to the playoffs. Despite the help of the new manager, the team still plays rather childishly, thinking they can get by easy. They just let off the pressure and let the other team phase through them. This is what happened against Swansea yesterday.

honestly not that many stinker predictions, luton and sunderland were major shockers so i cant get really laugh at him too much. That burnley prediction was perfect. Those prem predictions tho, those are gonna hilarious.
you should count how many spots you are away for each team and total them up for a final score. obviously 0 would be a perfect score if you got all teams correct, so the lower the score, the better. since saying you only got 4 right would indicate you didn’t predict very well, when in fact you were pretty good!

You should develop a point system for these predictions (e.g. 5 points for spot on, 2 points for 1 place off, 1 point for 2 places off, -1 point for 5-9 places off, -3 points for 10+ places off). ...As you mention yourself a few times, it a bit ridiculous to say you get a prediction "wrong" when you miss a mid table team by one place.
I usually give you a 1 place either side gap for predictions to be fair so by my standards you did really well this year and that top 2 prediction was so perfect you deserve a round of applause
Ian made my Grandad a happy man getting Blackpool to the Premier League. We as a family (we'll the football fans anyway) do still respect Blackpool thanks to him. So I am sad Blackpool are down again.
Brew these predictions were absolutely decent .. one place off in most is really good.. next season onwards i think u should tally how many places off u were in all teams and add them up. Then compare with other youtubers.
You should get a points system where 1 wrong position is 1 point. The less points the better. Taking into account the ones that were just one off it was pretty good
