It’s cool finding someone new to watch and subscribe to. Thanks for showcasing Waris’ channel! How nervous do you get (if at all) while watching other people play your decks?

I hadn't heard of Waris before this so it was great to discover someone with such good playthroughs. Super happy. The nervousness thing is interesting. I'm very confident in my decks so I'm rarely worried at all to begin with. I think I build for consistency more than the average deckbuilder which helps. But I die on the inside as soon as things start going wrong 😆

@@VillainTheorythat totally makes sense 😃. Man, I’m grateful if someone does, but I have to fast-forward to the end to know if they won or if they had fun, then I can withstand the tension of the game 😅 And also, I absolutely respect how my friends and I rarely have a bad shuffle when using your decks, speaking of consistency. I feel like that’s a huge difference between a mid-tier deck and a top-tier deck.

I love this style of video! I think watching someone comment on a game teaches me a lot more than just watching someone play as you kind of get two perspectives at once, and the person commenting can focus on analysis and not on playing.

I love leaving a SS on (or less than) Cables Thwart value into the Villain phase - if you already finished 1SS, do something else if possible/plausible. Then you can basic Defend and use Askani'son both reducing villain damage and clearing a SS and thus also readying (his innate is 1/phase). Then try to take out a SS in Hero phase for another ready followed by basic action. Thus you get 4 uses of basic stats a round pretty much free with Graymalkin.

Cable is my favorite character, so thanks to show him some love. I play him in Justice or Leadership, I have yet to try him in Pool. I play mostly Expert and I would love to see you play that mode, especially against harder villains (to learn, not to see you suffer).

Regarding Heroic, I used to try to push to Heroic 1 vs. Klaw early on. I remember having a Black Widow Protection deck that could handle that with some consistency, though it was very easy to get overwhelmed early on if you drew too many of the Masters before you were properly set up.

That sounds like a fun challenge. Black Widow vs Heroic Klaw. If I do end up doing gameplay, maybe I'll try it!

I think that’s fair to say, but I’ve never watched heroic mode or taken much interest in it so who knows, I might love it) To be clear I enjoy all the content and Dale the casual gamer got me into the gameplay videos and MC itself. The MC content I consume at present is probably ranked in the below order 1. Your reviews/previews. The categories and star system is perfect! 2. Collab work with other creators and discussions they generate (the podcast) 3. Reviews/Previews of individual cards and combos 4. Deck building ideas and full deck analysis. 5. Tiered lists (I like these as they often get me to think about cards I’ve forgotten about) 6. Gameplay videos. If there is more discussion around the decks/cards/thought process. The I enjoy these more. My thanks to all the creators for what they put together…. I have no idea how you all get the time and skills to do what you do. Hats off to you all
