I started watching you when your voice was a bit high but I could see your talent evolving and how determined you were. You transformed with every video in such a good way! Then when you bought the cottage in Texas I was totally blown away by what you did . And the quality was amazing. When the rooms were coming together I started bringing tissues because I would cry happy tears for you. I was so damn proud of you for taking on such big construction jobs. I am probably around your mom's age so I would think of how proud she must be and then I would cry all over again. You are an amazing woman and a huge inspiration. ❤

I started watching you while you were working on the cottage post heavy construction and your creations of bathroom, kitchen, living room and other stuff in between. You definitely inspired me. I was a long time homeowner and now a renter. I didn’t feel comfortable making the space my own until you gave me the courage. It’s only paint!! And any furniture projects I did I could take with me so why not. Thank you.

I started watching your videos during the pandemic. It happened by accident. I really never spent time watching videos. You helped me find my footing on a journey I have already spent a few years downsizing, decluttering, and utilizing what I already have to make my home comfortable, and to keep only those things that bring contentment and joy to my life. Also, your inspiration and motavation, gives me the desire to learn new skills and be more thoughtful about the things I bring into my life. Also, you showed all of us how to be ourselves, be vulnerable, and be able to say I need to rest, restore, and take a break. Which we all need to be able to recognize our limits when needed. I first saw you on a Lonefox video. You and drew had challenged each other on a thrift store flip. He told us to go to your channel and check you out so I did and I’ve been following you ever since. Watching you doing all these projects and using all the tools really gave me the confidence to do all my own work. I bought a chop saw and a nail gun and sander and drill and redid my grown daughters bedroom when she and her family were at Disney. It turned out exactly as I planned. I had been buying furniture and decor for almost a year at antique shops and thrift stores. Redid her whole room for under $500. I’ve also redone my bedroom and my bathroom and am getting ready to put molding/wainscoting in my hallway. I am a 64 year old widow and have owned my little house for 7 years. Thank you for all your ideas and confidence. 🥰🥰🥰

I started watching before the cottage and enjoyed seeing you tackle different types of projects, re-imagining and salvaging existing pieces and giving them a new look. I missed some of the beginning of the cottage makeover but thats when i really started watching and witnessed your incredible growth in your skill base. I found your channel about 6 months before you bought the TX cottage. I have been thoroughly inspired by your workmanship, learning journey and the heart you’ve put into the renovations. I’m doing small fix ups and painting my house and furniture at the moment and am keeping in mind your persistence and enjoyment of the process. I've really enjoyed growing along with you! When i first discovered RU-vid you were one of my first recommendations. The first video i remember was the concrete desk. The "boyfriend does my makeup" one brought you into my "seek her out" list". The breakfast nook with the gallery wall stepped it up to anticipated fave! This made me realize how long I have been watching your channel. I started watching around year 2. I has been fun to watch you grow as a content creator and as a person. Your editing skills and all things photography related grew as well. I have definitely enjoyed the journey. Looking forward to 2024. Loved hearing the backstory of your first viral video. So sorry you weren’t feeling well…it didn’t show. Looking back I realized that was the first one I watched and from then on I continued watching. Can’t believe it was that long ago. Some of my favourite oldies were when you and Drew found items at the thrift store and swapped them to diy. Loved those projects. So creative. I shared your videos with my mom once you started renovating the cottage and we're both so inspired by you and bond over your videos every chance we get. This time last year we thrifted our way through the Texas Hill Country at some of your favorite spots, and I'm so grateful for the memories we made during that trip and will cherish them forever. The first video of yours I watched was the hallway makeover in the cottage. The first video I saw was your tour of the cottage when you first bought it. I started following you, like many here, when you found your cottage. I love property transformations. Especially properties that have some historical elements left in them.
