I'm a quite new fan and I think it's the first song I see Sami in the band. I've looked songs from the "end of an era" DVD to now, so it's understandable why I never saw him.

It's a recording. The only version that have this vocals live is on decades, with marco singing. If someone have other version with the original singer on stage, pleeeeease let me know T_T.

I just checked out the studio version, and I like this version better. But I basically always like Nightwish's live performances better than their studio recordings.

Last live concert i visited before everything on hold because of covid was SONATA ARCTICA in december 2019.and they in turn dragged other band with them: Temple Balls. Young band,but good oldfashioned Rock. Helping them on the rails it seems. I do enjoy music and performance of them also very much. Nice guys to talk to after the gig also

As they entered the school, they started shooting and throwing bombs everywhere, killing 9 boys (9 blue ones), 4 girls (4 pink ones) and finally themselves (2 black ones). This was carefully planned for over a year, and these guys were determined to kill also themselves afterwards. They had no real motive. They made a videotape in the morning just before the massacre where they said: "We are going to kill you all. You have been giving us shit for years. We want to say our sorry for our parents; there's nothing you could have done. This is something we must do. We're sorry; we didn't like life very much..." The event is something I will never understand. If something as horrible as this can happen in this world, there's no sense, no truth to cling to anymore. I find there's a great deal of symbolism hidden in this happening. The dialogue in the middle of the song quotes the actual phrases between the killers and their schoolmates during the shooting. "Slow Love Slow" is a deliberately erotic-tinged song and it's rare to see Floor in that mode (because she doesn't have to). @@alanfoster6589 Slow Love Slow is Anette’s song, Floor did not change that. Floor does not magically own every song she does, she does that with most songs, but not with all songs. This is of course only my opinion.

@@sanderhoogeland9161 Actually, it's Tuomas Holopainen's song. Floor and Anette just happen to sing it.

@@alanfoster6589 That is not what I meant. When somebody covers a song and does it better than whoever did it originally, people often say that he or she now owns the song.

In this case, it was a backing track as it's identical to the album version.

If those were the golden years, these are the platinum years, or at least they were before Marco left.

Well, I like every Nightwish album and era, but I'm especially attached to Oceanborn and Wishmaster cause that is when I discovered them, it was something completely new and different, I adored this bombastic style in the combination with Tarja's operatic voice, it was so raw and fresh. But realistically golden era of Nightwish never ended, even Anette years were great :) Marco leaving is a huge blow, it will be interesting to see how it continues and if they can maintain this high. Tarja's departure looked like the end of the world but it wasn't in the end. The only true irreplaceable member of Nightwish is Tuomas

@@AleksandarGospic Yeah, I agree, the golden age of Nightwish never really ended, I was partially just joking around a bit. And do not get me wrong, I like old Nightwish, even though I have only really known and liked them for a little over a year now. I do mostly prefer old Nightwish in studio over old Nightwish live though. Yeah, Marco leaving does not have to mean the end of Nightwish, but the fact that Tuomas said a few years ago that he can not take an other lineup change does worry me.
