This was hands-down my favorite episode. I feel like this was the most relaxed I've seen Manny ( in a POSITIVE way ) what I mean is that I feel like we have now gathered as friends here and I LOVE it!

Just wanted to thank Laura for being positive about age gap relationships. I see so much negativity about them online, with people assuming it's disgusting, so it was great to hear someone have a positive take. There is an 18 year gap between me and my partner and I'm the older one. We've been together 12 years and he's the best thing that ever happened to me . If someone is right for you, then age shouldn't be a barrier.
I was thinking the same thing!!! All my serious relationships have had at least a 12 year age gap, including my current boyfriend that I’ve been with for 5 years . So many people have looked at me with some kind of judgement or have looked at him like he’s a creep or something. My parents are 12 almost 13 years apart so I have never had it in me to judge an age gap ( as long as it’s legal of course ) thank you Laura for your positivity!!!
@@lexvirgilio I have been given so much verbal abuse for my relationship, with people telling me that I must be mentally unwell to love someone so much younger. They never consider that we work well together, or that we're happy. We bring out the best in each other, and I know we're set for life. I no longer care what people say, and now when anyone comments I say, "are you jealous?" 😂😂. That usually shuts them up. Also, my parents had 15 years between them and their marriage was solid for 35 years until my dad died.

My fiancé and I dated for a long time (7 1/2 yrs) before we got engaged and I straight up told him if he proposes in public I’m saying no and running away 🤣 I get social anxiety just talking to store employees I don’t need a stadium of people staring at me. He obviously knows how anxious I get and proposed in our house. We took a vacation to Jackson Hole a week after and told everyone he did it on top of the mountain (which we did have another special moment at) so it didn’t seem lackluster on his part but for us, who don’t put much emphasis on being ‘showy’, it was perfect.
Docking and soaking is like Julia Roberts in her movie step mom explaining what “ snow blowing” is to her step daughter 😂😂 This podcast was soo hilarious!!!

When I was 22 I married my husband and he was 36 and we have now we have been married for almost 7 years and together for almost 8. I agree with Laura about it being the right person.
