So basically seulgi is the monster that why at the start she is crawling toward irene whom is "her prey" but it turn out irene is not as innocent as she thought and irene then start to fight seulgi off and then takes over her mind hence the scene of irene standing over seulgi in the bed and also you see two beds in one room because now irene is in seulgi's head. Seulgi knowing this tries to fight back thats why there is the scene with her pointing the gun towards her shadow it doesn't work, it turns seulgi underestimated irene and it turns out that irene is indeed the "monster' as showed in the scene in which her face turn into what she really is. Irene then takes over seugli's body thats why their dancing is mirrored and also why she is now the on that is on top of the spider that is made by them and the back up dancers showing that irene is now the predator and not seulgi. She is also the puppet master controlling everything hence the dolls all around her in that scene

They story of the video is (I’m sorry if someone has posted it) Seulgi is the monster who goes to prey on Irene but what she doesn’t know is even though Irene may be human, she is the one who takes over the monster. It’s reflected in the choreography, it’s one reason why they’re always standing so close, and why she’s preying on her at night in her bedroom. Then we see the reveal of Irene’s face after the 2 verse, she is the real monster. It is why their positions switch sides and then reverse in the “human made monster” at the end with Irene now controlling it(where Seulgi controlled it in the beginning or was the “head”). It’s incredibly clever to me because it continues their Red Velvet storylines into the subunit plus not only is the story told within the MV and lyrics but the CHOREOGRAPHY!!! Well done ladies.
