Love it when metal meets culture, the likes of The HU and Alien Weaponry ring the same - these guys are amazing!

Imagine being stranded on an island, you'd want these guys to follow you around, playing soundtrack of your adventure. I can hear Gojira influences on the guitars (not the solo but in general) Thanks for introducing me to this band :)

I just love Shepherd's Reign. There's a metal RU-vid channel here in Brasil that has a series of videos with metal bands that don't sing in English that I always recommend their music. And if you enjoy this ethnic blend with metal, I highly recommend Arandu Arakuaa, an Indigenous Folk Metal Brazilian band that sings on indigenous languages, such as Tupi Guarani, Xavante and Xerente.

Cool stuff man. The balance of tone and distortion in the vocals it really neat, and the instrumentation reminds me of some of my favorite bands that kind of walk the line between alternative rock and metal.

What would be really great, if you could react to it, is a new project featuring Marcela Bovio. Marcela was a backing vocalist for Floor Jansen on the second album of Floor´s previous band ReVamp and for Anneke van Giersbergen in Gentle Storm (a project by Arjen Lucassen). She is also a backing vocalist for Arjen Lucassen´s Ayreon. And for Simone Simons in Epica. She was the lead vocalist in another Arjen Lucassen´s band called Stream of Passion. She is also one of the "lead" vocalists in MaYaN. This project is called Dark Horse White Horse and Marcela started it with guitarist Jord Otto and keyboardist Ruben Wijga, who were both members of ReVamp. Ruben is now in a band called Blackbriar. Jord was in Anneke van Giersbergen´s band Vuur for a while and is a first cousin to Charlotte Wessels from Delain. The guest drummer for the upcoming EP is Arien from Epica and the guest bassist is Siebe Sol. It is produced by good old Joost van der Broek. They released two singles: "Dark Horse White Horse - Black hole" and "Dark Horse White Horse - Judgement Day (lyric video)" which are together only 8 minutes long. This is a Damn Good band

I was also sold on my first listen of Le manu. Aiga did not dissappoint. Also the polynesian languages seems to be some of the most metal languages i've come across in my exploration of metal from various places. I say that coming from a country (Sweden) which has has among the most metal bands per capita in the world. Now i'd really love to hear your take on Freak Kitchen. I think one of their best songs is 'saving up for a...' but certain phrases in the lyrics might not be up to everyones taste. Then we get to 'Soen' and their latest song 'Antagonist' possibly my all time favourite song of 2020.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but the proper pronunciation of "Aiga" is EYE - ING - AH, said as one whole word

You know there are two bands i would absolutely love for you to check out, Fair to Midland, a prog metal band from texas that broke up in 2013, Check out their tracks Dance of the Manatee, Musical Chairs, and Rikki Tikki Tavi, the other band is Atomship they only had one album back in 2004 but it rocked my world, their drummer was my gold standard for judging skill for a long time. Check out their Tracks Day of Daze,Whitfield, and Mothra. I love what you do man, keep up the good work!
