I’m not a fan of Amanda at all. Remember when Alex straight up smashed Jared’s face for NO reason? Amanda was like “Jared that stuff happens when people get drunk.” I HATED hearing her blame Jared for that. Not sure why that stuck out to me but I just think it really turned me off. She acts really weird when she’s drunk.

I admire Beth’s communication. I think she was quietly addressing that it was valid concern. she did see she thought Alex and Juliette were over as a reassurance. If she said “he won’t cheat on you don’t worry!” that would be dishonest. I do feel like the thought of a trying to be in a committed relationship with Alex is crazy in general.

Amanda was awful in this episode, she has been in other episodes too. She's shown poor friendship qualities before. It was sad to see Juliette be treated like a side chick. I got the impression that Alex was being with Alyssa more for his family than for himself. He was never bold about Alyssa when asked. I missed where Ish broke up with Madison, I only saw him say he needed time to deal with it and they shouldn't see each other. I will have to rewatch. I thought he was asking for time not for ending it. It was a lot to accept Madison's family was against it all.
