@Mike Bartner this isn't his final mock draft, Pronman typically releases the final final mock one day before or the day of the draft and thats the one that is spot on. for example last year he released another mock the day of the draft and it had the Ducks picking Leo Carlsson
I think demidov is the pick at 2 as well but history shows it’s much easier to get top 6/elite wingers through free agency than it ever will be for top 4/2/elite Rhd defenders. You pretty much have to draft dmen yourself to ever get them so I could see him going as high as 2 still.
@@coochycoo4395u can but with 0 elite forwards in the prospect pool it’s 100% necessary to get a forward considering hawks have a lot of good young dman
@@dparis2172 obviously there were lots of forwards selected high and there always will be in any draft but I’m just saying it’s really hard to ignore elite potential dmen as it’s hard to get those pieces without drafting them. Wingers are usually the easiest position to find in free agency and some times if you have the right coaching and great center depth it can unlock the potential in some prior mediocre wingers.
rangers still being talked as a bad development team is crazy after drury got rid of the drama boys and let the north amerricans cook in their junior leagues
