Jun Wu's English VA is really channeling some "Mother Knows Best" vibes! I almost want to lay the Rapunzel dialogue over the Jun Wu & Xie Lian scene, it would fit really well. Like "I even met someone" = "I just met an interesting man" and "So Rapunzel knows best, Rapunzel's so mature now" = "Xianle is all grown up now." I need it so much!

OMG!!! THE DUB IS SO QUEER!! Love Pei Ming phrasing, he is soo sassy and confident, also Windmaster she/her and they/them pronouns are so spot on as it should! This episode is too much to take in but i enjoyed every dialogue. Btw: Xie Lian seeing Hua Cheng's terrible handwriting and saying "not pretty 🙂" had me dead.

I'm going through a very hard time right now and seeing your reaction to the dub just made my day a little bit brighter. All of the cast are perfect for their characters and I absolutly adore Shi Qingxuan and Hua Cheng's voice! And Xie Lian saying, "I can't get erect" James Cheek knew what he was doing to us.
