yea old money bitch and johnny johnny johnny are definitely two of my favourites now on the whole album. love the throwback pop vibes on both, johnny might even be the best on the album to me, the contrast between lyrics and vibe is so interesting and off putting.

yea personally horror movie soundtrack just didn’t hit for me idk. it just felt the most unnecessary and the soundscape was the most uninteresting on the album to me, it didn’t rly go anywhere. i can see how others would like it more, just personally not for me.

​@@ctrlmat Shoot to kill, kill you darlings crossfades into Horror Movie Soundtrack, and when you take into context what both of those songs are about, and the emotion of the singer, it makes it a more enjoyable(if not deep and depressing) listening experience. that track brings tears to my eyes sometimes.

​@ctrlmat i rlly suggest lookin into how each track paints the narrative further !!! it rlly gives insight to the lyrics that sometimes make no sense, each song has a place it fits in. the tracks revolve around the characters "S*nny" "Mara" and "Old Money Bitch" and the verses in the songs are in their perspectives, for example 77 dog years is Mara having a conversation with S*nny, admitting to how she would stalk her (mara is the protag of you dont even know) and also S*nny thinking back on her father leaving their family apart after being the one to rob many wallsocket elders of their money as a bank teller and then go on the run (s*nnys father is the robber in cops and robbers). thats just one track, but it goes soooo much deeper and it rlly makes me love the album more, and gives me reason to appreciate the parts that i sonically like less than others
