Let's goooo 🔥🔥 Vinland Saga is definitely a show you'd enjoy. A historical epic, mostly based around real life people and events. Season 2 is right around the corner as well. Vikings and anime are the one mix I never knew I needed, but it works beautifully.

yeah it normally is hard to tell someone what an anime is about without spoilers but in this case its pretty easy. its a dramatic retelling of the real life story of Thorfinn Karlsefni an Iclandic explorer, Viking and Absolute Unit, on his journey to make a life in Vinland (America).

So yea, Vinland Saga is a show about vikings. It's based on real life events and nordic mythology. It has really great plot and amazing action scenes, so I would definitely recommend it.

Vinland Saga might not be the most popular anime, but the quality of the series is 10/10. If you're into real life, tinge of fantasy, history's politics and gory battles, this IS the show for you. Edit: There's only one season of Vinland Saga out so far. Season 2 is coming next year.

How big is this universe? That's the real world map. Hence why it shows Scotland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, and Canada (Vinland). The show is basically a fictionalized telling of the life of the real life Icelandic explorer Thorfinn Karlsefni, who followed the route taken by the Norse explorer Leif Eriksson to Vinland. Sometime between 1004-1013, Karlsefni had a son in Vinland, Snorri Thorfinnsson, who is considered to be the first white child born in the Americas. According to the Vinland Sagas, they left when Snorri was 3 due to hostilities with the indigenous peoples.

Vindland is very good and probably the most AoT like anime I've seen and I definitely recommend you reacting to it after AoT! Vinland Saga is a Viking revenge story with some strong themes of manipulation and honour.

Vinalnd is an amazing show. It is mostly inspired by actual history, tho it follows also a story of characters that are not all historical figures. Additionally if you like philosophy, I d say this show is deeply philosophical and certain moments or lines will make you think and rethink. For me it was a 10/10 and only 2 shows in my life got this rating from me.

First op end ed are absolutely the best. Second ones are also amazing, but first is just beyond

Vinland Saga is an amazing history based manga, the story is based on real actual Norse sagas of that period, the author has studied so much of actual Viking history and stuff and the attention to details is amazing. The show focuses on the story of Thorfinn Karlsefni, a Viking of that period (don't look up or read too much stuffabout the real actual Thorfinn since it might spoil what happens later in the manga/anime) Vinland is actually a name given by Leif Eriksen (a Viking and also the first European to come to the American continent), he named North America that way when he first discovered it. The story of the manga as a whole kind of tells the story following that event and everything that was happening at that time focusing on some characters of that historical period.

I think you would fall in love with vinland saga if you watched it. Also I think you should give The Case Study of Vanitas a chance and listen to the intros and and endings from it.

Little late to this video, but here's some answers to some of your questions: Vinland Saga had one season in 2019 with modest success and there was no word about a second season even though there's still more manga to adapt until I think earlier this year. Now we know that season 2 is coming in January 2023 and I am HYPED. The story draws from a lot of real world historical figures and, without going into details, is a story about war and revenge with one of the best written anime protagonists of the last 5 years. It is simply incredible. The songs, in order, are: Mukanjyo by Survive Said the Prophet Dark Crow by Man with a Mission Torches by Aimer Drown by Milet

Hell yeah man. One of the classic, best of the best modern anime and classic manga. Oh man, that ending 1 hit you everytime, talk about soul music. And it fit the story so well once you see the tenderness and loneliness, hurt after all that brutality. You really should watch and react to this show my man. Cheers.

You know what I found out most recently archeologists have discovered Viking remains with the most impeccable oral hygiene even compared to modern day technology today. Guess they were just smart & advanced back then who would of thought. They would make a powder & coat there teeth with it using herbs & stuff, & they used a black clay which made them look more fierce to they’re enemies that actually made they’re teeth have extra protection like a steel coating based on recent research.

if youre a Viking fan definitely recommend vinland saga imo is better than the Vikings series also it has a collab w AC Valhalla oh and i would say currently anime is just the Prologue of the full story

You will love this show if you watch it, and season 2 is arriving next year so it's a good time to start. This is the same studio that animated Attack on Titan season's 1-3, and the characters/story are up there with the best.

It follows fictional characters but has historical battles and events happening that the characters dip in and out of, It's set when the Vikings were clashing with the Saxons while invading England.

Vinland Saga, absolute top tier anime. Fantastic story, character development, animation and a gorgeous soundtrack. Watch it, even if you don't post reactions to it. It's a work of fiction obviously but a lot of its characters are drawn from history and as someone from the UK you will get a kick out of the fact it's based a lot around our own history.

The thing with anime is it's a medium like any other but studios have a completely different approach to the stories. 95% of anime are adapted from manga and light novels which are basically comics and short books. The thing with manga and light novels however is the people involved with this stuff feed into each other and formed large communities where people pass around stories or games. A lot of these people having their own talents are what helped form the larger companies that make anime and games. What's important about that is that anyone can come in and potentially make a name for themselves as an amateur before joining one of the bigger companies that'll help promote their story. Also worth mentioning that a lot of these people use their talents to make porn but sometimes that's what you need to do before you can go legit. Fate is the biggest money maker in anime and began as a group of dudes selling a visual novel which are basically choose your own adventure games. That led to their more successful VN which led to more VN, manga, an anime, and finally a really good anime before they made a mobile game that makes a hundred mil a year.

Great anime with a good story. Lot's of cool fighting, but also with really deep and interesting character storylines😁👍👍 I'd be careful of watching "all" the openings if you want to watch the animes though. They're notorioslu full of spoilers. A much better idea would be to react to the first opening and ending. And then do the otehrs as they come. That's if you might be interested in actually watching the animes though.

So to try and sell Vinland Saga to you I will just say this. It is a Seinen which means it's intended demographic are adults looking for more mature themes. Also historical fiction, many of the characters, events and places you see in the show existed though of course the mangaka took creative liberties with them to make their own compelling original story.
