Of course this comment is irrefutable. Inarguable. Undeniable... But IMO the refs missing the 4th down conversion on the J-Love sneak at the beginning of the 2nd quarter was even more detrimental than that missed FG..... He for sure converted - and that would have probably led to 7 but at WORST 3 cuz even without another single yard it woulda been a 29 yard kick... But that conversion, and a tuddy!? That changes the entire game - bet it's a double digit packers win
Brian Flores is somewhere smiling with his foot kicked up in the air listening to the Jordan Love praises coming from the media. Dolphins fans gave him a hard time because he gave Love a higher draft QB grade than Tua and Herbert. Prime example of why coaches coach and fans are spectators.
The Green Bay Packers 2023 campaign turned out to be a surprisingly successful season, defying the skepticism that shadowed the team’s transition to our new starting quarterback Jordan Love. Admist a dropback of uncertainty and mixed expectations, Jordan Love demonstrated his capability to navigate the team through challenging times, ultimately securing a playoff berth when the odds seemed stacked against them. In what was a testament to Jordan Love’s leadership, the Packers clinched a playoff victory over the Dallas Cowboys in the opening round of the playoffs and were on the brink of overcoming the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round. Such performances under pressure not only silenced the critics but also ignited optimism around Jordan Love’s potential to be the franchise’s cornerstone. Jordan Love’s debut season as the starting quarterback was marked by moments of brilliance that suggested the beginning of a promising career. NFL Network’s Stacey Dales recently commended Jordan Love’s offseason “maturity”, a trait that has been evident in team practices and is seen as vital for Jordan Love’s continued growth into a top-tier quarterback. A tweet from the NFL Network featuring Dale’s comments highlighted his sentiment, shining a light on Jordan Love’s developmental strides as he prepares for the 2024-25 NFL season. The Packers, who have a storied history of fielding MVP-caliber quarterbacks like Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, could very well be looking at the dawn of a new era if Jordan Love maintains his trajectory. As Jordan Love’s journey unfolds, the Packers fortunes in the highly competitive NFC North, especially with the Detroit Lions also making significant progress, will be a storyline to watch. The young quarterback’s ability to build on his initial success and create a legacy akin to his predecessors will be a defining challenge for both him and the team as they look towards the 2024-25 NFL season. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” That Includes your smartphone.
@@michaelgray8318 that is true. I find it hard to rank Purdy just because he has the best roster around him in the league. Best RB, arguably best TE, and arguably best WR duo. But I think people underrate him a bit while also overrating him. I think the truth lies in the middle. But again, I wanna see him without the avengers roster.
"ceiling" 🙄 The braindead talent assessment word. Purdy's "ceiling" is being 14th on all time passer rating for a season amongst names like Rodgers, Brees, Mahomes, Brady, etc. There is no such thing as a qb ceiling, but if there is then Purdy's is higher than Love's
@@Sammy50599 And they all sound dumb when they say it. What is Tom Brady's ceiling? Does he have an apparent trait that Purdy could never emulate? There is no such thing as "ceiling". Either you can throw the ball or you can't.
Here’s my thing if you have a qb that has to be told by hood coach throws here on this play he’ll be open, then is he really that good??? Because he’s not reading a defense at that point and making the right throw, the coach is calling plays which is scheming the receiver open at that point????
I have hated the Niners for as long as I can remember. But this current Niners team is as balanced as they've been in a long time. Brock does great on Fantasy Football. He is a great QB.
You saw Purdy coming off of a MAJOR elbow injury to this throwing arm with NO offseaon YET he did all what he did......BP ceiling is way higher now that he will have actual off seasons and a healthy arm.
We need to hold up packer fans! Now I been a packer fan for 35 years, but we need to back it off just a little. Love has had one gokd year, how many QBs we seen come in and have one good or great year and then not really do anything else??? So I think it’s going to happen with love no I do not but that doesn’t mean it won’t!?!?!?! I have faith and believe what I seen he got his confidence and figured it out, but I’m not a coach or a scout so let’s back off a little and let this season unfold
I remember how well Simms played and take everything he says with a grain of salt. His rankings mean nothing and we have no idea how this season will go. Just get excited and try to enjoy watching this team grow
I got Love either way of these 2 choices... Either in a 3 way tie for 6th with Herbert & Stroud OR -- Stroud, Herbert, & Love can be 6th 7th & 8th in whatever order feels best that day... I think there's 5 QBs for sure better than those 3 QBs. Mahommes Allen Lamar A-Rod & Burrow are 1-5. Then Love Stroud and Herbert are 6-9
If love played for the 49ers he would outperform purdy. Its that simple. 49ers fans know this but they'll act like purdy is a god. Most 49ers fans think lamar is worse than purdy. They don't actually think that they just like ragebaiting.
Ultimately the margins on the playoffs are thin. Love threw 2 INTs late in the game whilst Purdy was perfect on his last drive to win the game. This is what separated someone like Brady from Aaron Rodgers. "Better" is not a definition of talent... it's a definition of how you play Brock Purdy has shown he can yake over a game by himself and won from behind as he did to the Lions He is overrated easily a top 10 QB
@@micahkiyimba8641 Purdy threw multiple interceptions in that packers game as well but all of them were dropped. Differences in roster can great the small statistical differences between the two last year.
I don't agree. If physical talent is all that mattered then Rodgers would be the GOAT and not Brady. Purdy ultimately out played Love in the 4th qtr in SF when Love threw 2 Picks late...and then he came back from 17 to beat the Lions to go to the SB. He also did his part in the SB but Mahomes is just so great and beat them. Love is good but he's not yet shown he can come form behind in the post season when defenses who you are passing. I have Purdy ahead right now and he is also the younger QB
Jordan love was not a plug and play like Brock Purdy Purdy had every weapon available to him. The only thing that slows down his rain with his tiny hands. Considering rain games are very few and far between the 49ers will be fine Jordan has all the tangibles, but it is a team sport
As an iowa state alum who is also a die hard packers fan I'll say this. I think Brock is overhated. Certainly not even close to the top 20 most talented qbs in the league, but he's a top of the line executor. Yes Jimmy G also had a high level of success on the 9's, but nowhere near as high as Brock. You don't put up the numbers Brock did this past season without being a great qb, I don't care what any casual says, it's the NFL, no level of success is an accident. That being said I would take Jordan Love over brock every day of the week and twice on Sunday, but Brock deserves a lot more credit and respect.
You put purdy on the packers and they do NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS GUARANTEED!!!! You put love on the 49ers and we’re talking a DYNASTY!!! And that’s FACTS!!! Love is way more athletic than, stronger arm, more mobile, diagnoses things quickly, and give him all those studs to boot, it’s A WRAP
Every QB has success with the 49ers in the shanahan era… every one of them!!! Love doesn’t even have a number 1 WR and is STILL WAY BETTER!!! Idc what anyone says
the 49ers will lose to the PACK AT Lambeau this year and if they play them in the playoffs the 49ers will never make it to the SuperBowl Chris! ! The Packers will be playing with a Chip on their shoulders this year! Love will prove things out
Luke.. pre script... Shocked when a redskin Murphy became president of the packers... Who's next? Murphy's time is done... Belchek..lol ? Maybe? Americas real team... Needs a good choice and a answer...Luke your opinion plz.
@@bob_ohms2low75that makes no sense, chiefs were #1 defense in NFL and destroyed Lamar the mvp just a game before. Purdy actually dissected chiefs zone so well in first half that they changed in second half to man defense daring 49ers wrs to beat their corners and deebo mostly got shut down by chiefs d. Not to mention bottom 5 rank 49ers offensive line especially the right side let Jones untouched running straight at Purdy while blocking nobody atleast 4 times including final play in OT look it up. casuals i swear.
@@bob_ohms2low75 The Chiefs had to invent defensive plays on the fly in the Superbowl because Purdy was cutting them up. That will only get a defense so far until he gets more experience with what other teams throw at him.
@foofy4494 No. Packers played the Chiefs at Lambeau when they had less to play for. High stakes at a neutral field isn't even a similar game. That's why teams often lose to a team they beat in regular season
Here's the thing your man played the whole season, great but... a) your guy didn't make it to All Pro! b) didn't win the conference c) didn't make a superbowl with one season based on that I don't think he's deserving of having highiest paid QB! I was not wowed last season! Impress me then I'll sing a different tune! Rant over!
Wow ! Block Purdy in 17? Wait what did you see in the NFL ?? Brock Purdy is way better than Lawrence man!! Top 10 or better same with JLove way better than Lawrence ,, we seen in our own eyes , what did he see ?? 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
