Seeing these two is like seeing the straight laced goody two shoes christian kid being friends with the delinquent pagan who smokes behind the school while korn plays on the speaker in their backpack
I mean, as stated, it makes sense why folks would look at your hot wife, she's a hot woman. But staring at a license plate? Unless your a cop or similar security/investigation job, there aren't that many non-nefarious reasons to be doing that...
@@RipOffProductionsLLCbut if i dont stare at the license plate i cant figure out where he lives. So i can proceed to stalk his hot wife. I feel the same as the meat. Staring at someones license plate just feels like im creeping. Now that im contemplating about this. Idk how i drive. I drive around and just avoid license plates.😂😂😂😂😂
Isaiah cared so much about his imaginary girlfriend that he felt insulted when Hunter forgot her name "How dare you forget the name of the first love of my life"
A mad preacher from the Appalachian foothills and a psychologically disturbed 70 year old animator reacting to fan art is exactly what I needed on this beautiful Wednesday afternoon
@@fredfoshizzle4891 The photo of him and his wife is adorable and they look happy together, which makes me happy too. That said, I gotta agree with the background giving those vibes.
Hi!! I’m RosyBluebird! (The one who made the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Gregory88 comic at 30:34 ) I’m so happy you saw it!! TYSM for the kind words! I definitely want to make some more pages if possible! You guys are the best! Love this show so much!
You mimic the DOAWK style so well!! Also a very funny concept of Greg being in a conspiracy cult of a town after he grows up, wonder if he’d rather be there instead of his childhood lol
“I want to say the font here that says ‘friends to lovers’. That is unnecessary“ Literally a minute and a half later: “You got some full ass lips you know that?”
Just let me thank you, because Creep Cast has become almost my textbook on advanced English (not a native speaker), not only for the words that appear on each story but the wording you guys use to analyze them. You are very eloquent, i've been watching Isaiah for a little longer than Hunter but you both have enough chemistry to hold a super engaging conversation while analyzing, that I think is the main charm of what you do.
Wendigoon with the teddy bear on his head the whole episode, even though he wont see Hunter's reaction is like the old phrase "The one who plants trees, knowing that he will never sit in their shade, has at least started to understand the meaning of life."
Left right game was my absolute favourite. I often think to myself that magic couldn’t be real because someone would’ve figured it out by now, but LRG rules were so specific that it felt believable to me. It was so well done, and Meat Goon did such an awesome job covering it.
It's number one for me for sure, skeptical journalist start to Eldritch existential horror time fuckery end. I think it was the one that engrossed me the most.
You know.. judging from the energy these guys give, one of them could probably control fire, and the other more than likely has a girlfriend named Jacoby.
at first I thought, "I wonder what wendiwife thinks about the gay meatgooner meme", then I realized hunter is probably sitting in what looks like wendiwifes chair
Gregory 88 fell off so hard if that's the one where he finds the eggs. Jeff the killer was worse than Gregory 88 but Gregory was a cool lead up to something dumb Jeff was a stupid lead up to something stupid
23:43 They still haven’t made the connection of the true horror of what the father did in Borasca. It’s way worse than just “selling his daughter into a trafficking ring.”
The father was doing horrible stuff, but i doubt to his own daughter other than selling her to a child farm, inbreeding doesnt make sense from a business standpoint
@@ViolentlyAmerican Was that not the implication? I thought the main character visited his sister at the mine who was due in 10 days, then that couple from the sandwich shop received a baby a week later (implying it was the sister’s baby) and the baby’s name started with the same first letter as the main character’s last name (implying the father of the baby was the main character’s father). Isn’t that how it went? Also, didn’t the father say something like “I Love her more than you could ever know” when the main character confronted him?
@@MykleJackson For the "I love her more than you could ever imagine" comment I have no other explanation, that is just sus, but for the names I just assumed it was cause of the sister's last name (since obviously her, the main character and the dad would have the same one), it would be weird in a "business" standpoint to name the children in relations to fathers who very much want to be as hidden as possible
@@MykleJackson I could be miss remembering, but I thought the babies name started with the letter of the main villian, but if it was the dads that is extra messed up and a bad business practice
@@LeviCerise I just re-listened to both parts of Borrasca while I was at work. I’m paraphrasing but it says the babies were named after the fathers, P for Prescott and K for the sheriff (Killian or Killigan I believe). It would also be very difficult to have so many children in the same age range with names that start with the same letter if it was based on the mothers’ names due to the whole 9-month gestation thing. Kyle and Kimber would have to be Irish twins in order to be in the same grade. At the end of the story Prescott is talking to Sam while trying to untie his sister and says her babies have been unprofitable (I think hinting at genetic problems due to inbreeding). Lastly someone else pointed out that she couldn’t look at Sam and winced when he touched her possibly because he looked like his/her father. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Yeah that checks out. Hunter usually wants to just keep going with the story, and Wendy is always stopping to say, "Oh no" or "aww i feel bad about this"
@@notthefbi7015eh I feel like Wendy kinda drags it out sometimes, maybe he just really gets into the stories but he always like “oh man I’m so sorry, this is so hard to read, oh Man” etc.. not really a bad thing but Wendy def more reactive than hunter
I loved the ending of left right game. It straight up had me emotional and choking up just the thought of being "face" to face with this massive ethereal being that is somehow you at some point down the line. Shit's beautiful and terrifying as hell.
that and because she has to face the rest of the game on her own :( and you know she's going to be a total bad ass and make it further than anyone else ever could
it's the cyclical nature of the story, the fact that she was the ghost rob chased for years and young rob gave her the strength to carry on through the blood loss, that she was the higher power that drew her and everyone into the game... it's a time loop so there's no true end to the story. it literally can't end
what got me emotional is that Rob and his family were the biggest victims of this game and Alice's actions, she's fucking terrible if we assume she's the being she talks to near the end lol I felt horrible for the guy for a few days after watching the episode
You guys should totally do a two sentence horror stories episode, I feel like there’s gonna be a lot of funny ones and possibly a few that actually work. Glad you guys made this podcast, it’s one of my favorites!
The Left Right Game is so good to me personally because of two specific things... other than the great writing. 1. The ability to start the game is so easy and could be done by accident. Getting stuck at a dead end in the middle of the game would be terrifying. 2. The ending was so much bigger than I could have ever expected and made everything tie together
Dude this had me laughing the entire time lmao the banter is amazing. Ngl half of this video feels like Hunter is an older brother whose mom told him to hang out with his younger brother who has wayyyy too much energy for him
11:25 EXACTLY! What make the thing in the basement so funny is that the opening portions are SO STRONG, and then it just slowly descends into dialog that sounds straight out of marvel or like late 90s/early 2000s action movies. It's super frustrating because the author was initially on to something great, but it's hilarious that it turned into what it did. To the point it almost feels like intentional parody.
I dont entirely agree with this statement. Sure, the middle point of the story can be cheesy, but it gets on track really strongly after the interview. Its a bit of a shame that they didn`t give another chance because I feel that it has a solid follow up.
I still think about "I'm the one they call when shit gets spooky... and shit is very fucking spooky," being an actual honest-to-God line the author wrote and not just Hunter riffing, LOL
That shirt was insane and could be a great catch phrase for the show. “With you at the Witching Hour” and then y’all post new uploads around 3am, would go crazy
“Good lord, what is happening in there?” “Creep cast” “Creep cast? At this time of day, at this time of year, in this part of the country, localized entirely within one room?” “Yes”
"it's the perfect commuting podcast" I'm listening to creep cast on the bus pretty much everyday, and one time I accidentally connected my phone to the headphones of the girl sitting next to me and she just went straight into Hunter's reaction to the Jeep Wrangler. Well she hasn't sat down next to me since
This is why I like Creepcast. It can literally be about nothing and just listening to them goof around brightens my mood. Like how could you be in a bad mood listening to them laughing.
I know this video doesn’t have as many views as the podcast episodes, but I absolutely love it. You two are just an amazing duo and I love seeming what others in our lil community create
As a pagan viewer, I've never felt disrespected by you guys. People on the internet are just to damn sensitive. I love what you guys do, it reminds of the early episodes of my favourite Swedish podcast about creepypastas ❤
@@AyeletMarom-y6w I think my first response got deleted, so I'll try again! The podcast is called "Creepypodden" and the earlier episodes about Swedish folklore are so damn good!
27:44 was there live for this. The absolute legit Horror in PapaMeats voice was such a sign of a true and honest friend. And luckily the mic was muted for us, so it was just hilarious, yet heartwarming content.
Seeing Hunter in the "Isaiah Room" feels so wrong, it's an uncomfortable reminder that he lives in a 3-dimensional house and not in front of a flat image of a room
"It's a perfect commuting podcast" says Hunter meanwhile I listened to Penpal and 1999 while I was commuting from my job back home in the middle of the woods at night. I must say, never walked faster.
There were some great memes and a few "mayonnaise is the sauce of the aristocrat" references, but nobody made a meme of "pool floats are truly the balloons of the water"? Ah well. Love the chaotic energy meeting irl brings.
One day somebody will ask where the Funeral Kyle meme came from. And we will all be tested to either leave them in blissful ignorance or direct then to the source.
Funeral Kyle is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Hearing Goon and Hunter go off for like 15 minutes singing : 'ah ha, you know what it is Black and yellow, black and yellow' Or Fetty Waps, Trap Queen. 'and I get high with my baby.' is so funny!!! But I think one of my favorite moments, which I think was in left and right game, but if anyone can let me know when Goon literally almost asks Hunter, "have you seen the Meatcanyon animation..." then quickly realizes who's he's talking to. Freaking hilarious!
Yeah it’s doesn’t crash and burn with a sequel like Borr did and even the original 4 parts aren’t great if you think the reveal is too edgy and unrealistic.
Can I just say I am so in love with the Vintage 70s vibe that your wedding had? That's completely precious and I love the two of you even more having seen that. ❤
You two are the perfect pair and the only creeps I find reading the best and most iconic creepypastas, so it would be cool to see more growth/collab on Creep Cast. Thanks for all those episodes on Spotify guys, really helps get me through work.
Now that they're in the same room together, we can finally confirm that neither of them is a shapeshifter that just transforms into the other in different sets and stitches the footage together for these episodes.
I'm sure they might not take suggestions, but I think they would genuinely enjoy looking into the "Ghost Tree" series by Brandon Faitcloth, followed by "I'm being hunted across realities." The writing from what I remember is pretty good and the depth of detail is amazing. If not that one, then maybe "Cabin Getaway" by Felix Blackwell. (Or the book based off of that story by the same person "Stolen Tongues.") That one (Cabin Getaway) has a really good cabin fever horror feel but the pacing is extremely quick. Best wishes, love the work!
So for the Mr Wellers versus Dr Wellers discourse - the supervisor at a blood draw facility for a blood bank would likely be a nurse or a person with a background in medical laboratory work, and not a doctor so Mr Wellers is technically correct (the best kind of correct)
I love this type of content, it differs from the usual atmosphere and shows more of Wendigoon and Hunter hanging out, it’s so fun to see their dynamic outside of reading creepypastas
15:20 For people that don’t know, MeatGooner is a user flair which is just something silly or funny to put with your name, the topic of the post flair says “discussion”
The left right game episode is my all time favorite but I also got to listen to the first episode while driving in the middle of the night across the country. It made for a memorable parallel
18:43. The picture of Hunter looks like a picture they'd use for a documentary about a serial killer, and do a zoom in on his face and it turns black and white.
I re-listened to Borrasca the other day, and I think the dad is even worse than you two already think. I feel it's pretty clear that the dad has joined the operation at the end. Remember that the sister was due really soon, and it was very shortly after then that the boss had the child that confirmed that the dad had joined? Also, he has a line like, "I love your sister, and I will never give her up." (Present tense)
SO COOL! I made the green ranger meme, the "go to sleep" meme, the Pagan cult meme, and the Showers "missouri plates" meme! (TinyPinkTeacup) I'm a practicing Norwegian Pagan, I'm so glad you guys got the jokes 😆The only one that maybe wasn't clear on my part was the photo of the depressed looking boy poorly photoshopped onto the overly ripped child was supposed to be how Jeff really looked based on all the cringey dialogue and writing. Love you guys!! I'll keep making memes🥰
Holy shit Hunter's sarcastic "tiktok" voice is just wayyy too accurate. Those types of fake nice people that talk like that unironically are sooo infuriating it's mind-melting.
The nervous Hunter seeing the gun from the 1999 clip and the cut in the video to another section... Im pretty sure tha Icebergboy did rly kidnapped him
I'd just like to say, FOR MYSELF, as a pagan, Wendigoon has never personally offended me about being pagan. Came off as being all in good fun, in my opinion.
As someone who was raised pagan and have been my whole life, I’m definitely not butthurt about it, and I understand where he’s coming from, sometimes it rubs me the wrong way. It’s fine for him to have his own religious beliefs that go against mine, but I respect that, and sometimes he comes off plain disrespectful. But it’s not like it keeps me up at night, it is what it is, he’s far more respectful than most Christians 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@@nadine1208 That's fair! For example, the cult in Midsommar is definitely pagan but I don't think anyone in good faith would confuse my religion (Norse heathenism, to be specific) with the one represented in the movie. But I have definitely met people, both Christian and otherwise who are not talking in good faith.
When you said “who care’s if we mess an upload, you’ll watch anyway” on Creepcast i thought you were joking. New episode is almost a week late and I’m feening
The crazed Appalachian preacher-man, and the demented Giger-inspired artist both react to the funny videos and images related to their podcast is something I've been desperately needing for a long time.
