Today's video is the start of a new series that you can be a part of! After being a guest on one of Italy's top watch channels, I was inspired to start a new review & reaction series for the Urban Gentry audience to share your personal watch collection videos with me and other enthusiasts. In this first episode we'll take a look at 4 very different collection videos, and my reaction to each, including interesting watches from Omega, Tudor, Grand Seiko, G-Shock, Cartier, Breitling, Panerai, and more. Thank you to the following people for their fantastic submissions: Delboy from London, England, Klaus from Western Germany, Paolo from Monza, Italy, and D from Pittsburgh, USA. I'm a a huge fun of this format. I've watched all the episodes of Davide Cecchini "i contatori del tempo", included the episode with you as a guest star (by the way, awesome crossover). Thank you so much for the great idea to give us the opportunity to share our watch experiences! It was great fun. Not so easy to get the quality right with a mid-range phone and living room lighting, though! 😬And the awkward effect of cutting the video with all those watch dials running and hands jumping in the frame. 😂 BTW, apart from individual choices and obviously multiple taste influences, watching the channel for 6 years surely has an effect on one´s preferences. 😜 Thanks again, O&U Cheers, Klaus

I hope you know how important you are to a whole generation of watch collectors, in 2017 I was buying fashion whatches until i stumbled on your SKX video, in that moment my life changed, i have gotten my grail watch, then I sold it when i lost my job, but I have always been here, always learning not just but about horology but about culture and good maners in general. These are the type of watch collectors I like. Genuine enthusiasts that buy watches that THEY like, not what they hope will impress other people. The last guy shows of a gazillion dollar Omega and a Cartier, and then whips out a $40 dollar Casio. I love it. (Note: I know those two watches aren't actually in the gazillion dollar category, but considering what I would pay for a watch, they might as well be.)

This was such a fun way to watch watches. Great new formula TGV. I am super inspired by the viewers' collections. You have also been a huge influence on my collecting. I have 3 watches you reviewed in my watch box, as I type and you will be pleased to hear they all get lots of wrist time. My video skills are just rubbish, so though I would love to share some of the contents of that box, I think I would rather watch the more skilled viewers show what's in theirs!

This was so great to watch! Getting exposure to other people’s collections and thinking. For sure I have the Speedy in my future. And in the King Seiko / Grand Seiko arena I’m definitely team vintage King Seiko, so that’s on my shopping list. Brosnan era Seamaster definitely on the list. I may even need a new WW2 watch after selling my JLC officer’s watch a few years ago. This really is starting to get expensive!

For Paulo: traska venturer GMT will give you a polar dial and flyers gmt, longines spirit zulu time 39mm will give you the 58 size case, Lorier hyperion is fantastic if you like acrylic, and the new seiko navigator timer looks like it will wear phenomenally on a slimmer wrist. Cheers

Wow, "capolavoro" 😀 especially Paolo's collection. I wish I could be happy with just three or four. I wish I could have taken part, maybe one day. Wow, the collection at the end, the Seamaster GMT is perfect. Why doesn't Bond ever use a GMT? 😂 Also, tell Paolo to be careful putting the watches on the laptop because of the possibility of magnets. I'm very careful where I put an automatic down.

So nice to see the Bambino v2 in the video, brings me back to when I just bought it in 2017 from Marc LIwatches and it was my second watch after the SKX. Now I'm parting with it as a gift to a friend who just had a baby, may it give them good health and sentimental value for the future.
