Ado's image through this song is a young, cocky, rebellious teenager who's fed up with unfair expectations from parents, school, and authority figures. She's only 19 and was 17 when she recorded this song so it has a strong impact with disgruntled younger people. She's the artist parents don't want their kids listening to.
but the song is also about being too confident in yourself and thinking you're better than others while being frustrated you simply know you aren't. thats the second part of the message that most teens dont listen to because, like the majority of the song to adults, it contradicts what they think.
@@thebiggamers999 See I thought when it was talking about that inflated confidence it was talking more about how when you're younger, adults, especially parents, will put you up on a pedestal, telling you "good job" or "you can do it", making you think you're great or better, and then pull the rug out from under you at a certain point and go "you're not special, go get a job, be like everyone else." It's basically saying "it's your fault I'm like this, so fuck you."
this was her first song too which is insane(also she was 17 when she released it so theres already so much talent). i really want to see what you think about fleeting lullaby by ado which was produced by one of my fav bands called FAKE TYPE. it sounds like the perfect fusion of ado and fake types music which i love a lot. if you wanna check out one of their songs, i would recommend yummy yummy yummy cause its just pure fun.
Ado is only 19 years old. She skyrocketed to fame in asia after her first Original song called Usseewa in 2021. (which is slang for shut up) She was only 17 years old back then.
Shame you didnt react to this one with the subs- which id normaly say not to - but the lyrics are kinda the main point in this song- even with her great singing - its like a protest song for the younger generation in Japan- full of cursing and rebelling etc. Hope you do more Ado - I'd recommend Tot Musica - its my fav off her new album from the movie. Very dark and intense/creepy + screaming :) Make sure its nice and loud :) Might want the subs on for that 1 too tho they are less important than in this song.
"odo" "Gira Gira" and "Readymade" are the must haves. "New Genesis" "Fleeting lullaby" and "Tot Musica" were the biggest hit with the One Piece movie. But my personal favorite is "Eien no Akuruhi", a different soft and loving voice from Ado.
Best USSEEWA cover is by an "Awesome Kid Band". Check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HraQLcH01D0.html (USSEEWA by Awesome Kid Band)
Hey there. Discovered you now recently and like your idea about a day for listening to international music. And while I came here for the Vtuber reactions, I cannot help but wonder what you might think of the (now disbanded band) Kaizers Orchestra. I think their somewhat unique style might appeal to you, or at the very least facinate somewhat. Their songs 'Ompa til du dør' or 'Bøn frå Helvete' really showcase what they are all about. =) Would be honoured if you would check them out for us all. Just note, their live preformances are where they really shine.
if you don't like to solely focus on the captions, you could do two full runthroughs of the song where the first time you focus on the music and the animation, and the second time you dig deeper into the lyrics and the meaning of the song.
her their song from the one piece movie is also amazing please check it out! "Tot musica" its my persona fav along with blacklight which you did before
