Fun fact, when she performed this song live on the Grammy's, she was told she was not allowed to say "F**k." Back then cussing was not allowed on TV. It was a live performance, and as you can tell, she speaks her mind. So, of course, she sang the song as she wrote it. I can tell you when we were home watching it, and she sang F**k, we were jumping, laughing and dancing. She gave the finger to the Grammy's. They were not going to edit her! I don't think she's ever been invited back. But it was brilliant!

This song was like a razor through the musical landscape. She gave a whole generation of women a voice.

I took for granted knowing this song since I was 14.

Dave coulier said that he first heard this song when he was driving in his car, and knew immediately that she was singing about him. I can't imagine what that must be like. And then it became a number one. It's a classic now and it's still about him.
