How delightful! Thank you so much for telling me to check this out! Make sure you let me know what song you would like me to check out in the comments below!
Fun fact: Risu hid an easter egg in the lyrics of this song. If you take the first letter of each line, it spells “AYUNDA RISU HOLOLIVE INDoNESIA”. Also the title of the song is read as ‘ARISU AND YU’ in Japanese, which is an anagram of her name
@@fiqifirmansyah8251 An anagram is a word or phrase that's formed by rearranging the letters of another word or phrase. For example, the letters that make up “A decimal point” can be turned into the anagram “I'm a dot in place.”
A bit of an aside into Risu's lore: the witch (Ayunda) decided to escape prosecution by hiding her soul in the body of her squirrel familiar (Risu). When signing or talking, she refers to the deeper voice (that sung most of this song) as 'Ayunda', and her high-pitched and cutesy voice (that sang the Indonesian bit near the end) as 'Risu'. That out of the way, the overt text of this song is that Ayunda is writing a song to give to Risu as thanks for accepting her. The subtext, as well as what is shown in the MV, is Ayunda Risu made this song as a thank you for her fans for accepting her. As some others have pointed out here, the song itself has a number of cute easter eggs she wrote into the lyrics, such as the first letter from each verse spelling her name. The title is an anagram of [A]yunda [Risu] => Arisu or Alice-u. From what I understand, initially she wanted her name to be Alice, but felt there were too many of those so went with A. Risu instead.

Only way to follow this up is to do another HoloID member in Moona Hoshinova and do her original song High Tide which I think is one of the best hololive songs
Risu truly is adorable. Yes, she is fully fluent in 3 languages: Bahasa Indonesia, English and Japanese. The song is mostly in English, but she did include some Japanese and Bahasa lines in there. Also you don't seem to have noticed that she wrote the lyrics to the song herself! And as someone mentioned below, if you read the first letter of each line there's a "hidden" message in the lyrics.
Risu’s range is incredible! iirc she has the greatest range in all of Hololive. Either her or Kanata, who you should also definitely check out. Her latest original song, Chuuku No Niwa, is absolutely incredible
Risu is known for her range. The ups and downs she has in this song are built for her, it's so well arranged and she does it amazing live too. Other Vtubers mention it's really hard to sing. If you like cute singers with great range, when it comes to Vtubers I'd recommend Amane Kanata too. 'Uma to Shika' is amazing with ridiculous high notes. There's also 'The Narrow Way' which is just her flexing by doing a duet with herself.
yes risu did speak english, japanese and her native indonesian in the song. I have it on my spotify playlist too. next I will request play dice by hakos baelz, my song by watame or high tide by moona.
Cool Alice&U. Thank you for the reaction. The language you didnt recognice translates to: "Thank you for all the attention that you gave me!" Sadly Risu was/is under appreciated as a singer. In recent months however she and the rest of Hololive Indonesia gained more attention. Her live version of this song is always worth a listen. I would recommend Ayunda Risus RU-vid Music Weekend, which is about half an hour long. She live performed 6 Hololive Originals there.
I like this song sry if my English bad😅 Again, there's also an easter egg (A)remy eyes deceiving me? (Y)our soul starts to fade (U)nleash your magic to me (N)ow it’s time not to worry (D)o believe in me (A)journey we have to see (R)urira rarira (I)ncomplete melody (S)ung with a sweet but yet a sad symphony (U)nwavering spirit that you told me (H)ow can I do it when you’re not even here (O)h, let me (L)et out the words I could say to you right now, I can only tell you a bit (O)verwhelm me with your kindness is a GIFT that I could never ever trade with anything (L)et the time send this song to your ears (I)hope one day you will sing it to me (V)ersatile melody that I tried to write (E)very day I would pray in my heart, cause I’m reaching the sky (I)n a time full of worries (N)o light I could see (Do) you want me to be here? (N)ulling all the emotions you’re supposed to feel (E)ven voice I wanna hear (S)halala Shalila (I)ncomplete melody (A)rriving in your ears like it’s destiny I think that genius😅
Congrats on the 3k! You gotta do Polkas “Hologram circus” at some point. Kanata is always an amazing singer so any of her songs are amazing Watame is also a can’t go wrong moment. (I’m all for the 4th Gen supremacy)
Everblue is a better polka song imo. Hologram circus is fun, don't get me wrong. But if anyone wants to respect her as an artist, I think it's a better way to go.
@@ericp631 the reason we think it’s better is because we know polka and her other songs. To establish a baseline, I’d suggest he go with this then everblue.
One of the best reaction. My recommendation is ai no chiisana uta by moona. You don't need to understand the lyric because you'll understand it anyway by how the song delivered.
Sorry about the super late comment, but I've been binging the Hololive reactions and since there's no other Risu songs and nobody else mentioned it here I just want to say. She's entirely self taught in singing and still one of if not the best vocalist in Hololive. She went for professional singing lessons after joining Holo and was told, paraphrasing, "there's basically nothing I can teach you"
Fun Fact, u can read "Ayunda Risu Hololive Indonesia" if u Read every first Sentence On the lyrics.. (A)re my eyes deceiving me? (Y)our soul starts to fade (U)nleash your magic to me (N)ow it's time not to worry (D)o believe in me (A) journey we have to see (R)urira rarira (I)ncomplete melody (S)ong with a sweet but yet a sad symphony (U)nwavering spirit that you told me (H)ow can I do it when you're not even here (O)h, let me (L)et out the words I could say to you right now, I can only tell you a bit (O)verwhelm me with your kindness is a GIFT that I could never ever trade with anything (L)et the time send this song to your ears (I) hope one day you will sing it to me (V)ersatile melody that I tried to write (E)veryday I would pray in my heart 'cause I'm reaching the sky (In) a time full of worries (N)o light I could see (Do) you want me to be here? (N)ulling all the emotions you're supposed to feel (E)ven voice I wanna hear (S)halala shalila (I)ncomplete melody (A)rriving in your ears like it's destiny
8:42 Funfact. If you feel like "why her voice kinda different from before?" Its bcs she's like have 2 persona The 1st one is called ayunda(kind of big sis character) and 2nd is risu(cute character, its character that usually used on stream) . Correct me if im wrong bcs my english is bad
Risu vocals just hit different. She's definitely one of the top singers in hololive. I would recommend Black Out by OBSYDIA, it's from a different vtuber agency called Nijisanji
Pls do a reaction video on moona hoshinova's high tide. She is from hololive ID just like risu. She even has a powerful voice. Another one is ninomae ina'nis original song "violet"
Great way to start a reaction video...talk about YOU, YOUR "community" and most important, YOUR subscriber numbers. Tells me more about what this is about than the ten minutes following it. Good job!
@@Mattables Way to put words in my mouth. I never said that. I want you to have all the support you can get. You have mine. I watch your videos all the time, IF I look for reactions. You're doing great in that space. Your intro just screams "I don't actually give a fuck, just hit the button and the bell!", while the content of the actual video does not. Maybe just spend a few seconds talking about the artist you're reacting to, in addition to your self-promotion. It wouldn't, at least, seem as making the whole thing about yourself, at least.
@@ColdRoland To put it simple, i just react to recommendations. So i dont know anything about the artist beforehand. The idea is to react to a song someone loves, and learn from them. So yes, the intro has the bare minimum.
Yes ms.Ayunda have a BEAUTIFUL voice her range is incredible but never trust risu, she will take all your money and leave you on the side of the road nutless
I really want to cut out all the crap you say so this video won't be so long I'm a Taiwanese audience that doesn't like your reaction to vtuber's songs
