Floor did several of these covers during the covid lockdowns. She couldn't perform and she knew everyone was affraid and trapped in their homes so she started doing covers and posting on YT. They are all worth checking out. I suggest playing them from her channel.

Think that Floor posted 9 covers for us in her YT channel during the lockdown period, when many of us were absolutely alone, isolated. You have no idea how you feel when you are alone, on Christmas Eve 2020, and Floor gives you a cover of "Ave Maria" from home, together with the Christmas wishes of her family!..

I love that Floor makes singing this and belting those high notes look easy while sitting in a rocking chair!! Such a flex move from the world’s greatest female vocalist!

You should hear Floor sing “How’s the Heart “ acoustic with Troy in Planet Rock. This is probably the best song that demonstrates her vocal ability.

I've been a fan of Nightwish since Oceanborn, but Heart was always my favorite band until 2013. I would never have believed that anyone but Ann Wilson could ever do this song justice. Then one day Floor casually sets up a mic in the shed outside of her house, hands her husband a camera and sits down in a rocking chair... And absolutely owns this song.

At Floor, it always looks so easy. Even if she holds a D6 for seconds without her voice is shaking.When God had distributed the talent, Floor must have called HERE a thousand times!But not enough that she can hold this high note safe for so long, she also has the gift to put an insane emotion into it.This distinguishes a good singer from an artist.

'Wow' is right. LOL. Floor more than does the song justice. This was recorded in her home studio during lockdown. Sir Joost van den Broek (ex-After Forever, her first band) on piano. Her husband ,Hannes van Dahl ,I believe, is filming. Heart's version is a cover as well. Original by I-Ten in 1983. Hannes is the drummer for a Swedish metal band called Sabaton. Most of their songs are about military History. If you want to check them out, try the videos for Christmas Truce or Bismarck.

Floor first done this cover when she was younger in her first band After forever and after posting the song online a very famous special person replied and that person is Ann Wilson herself letting Floor know how much she loved it. Imagine how Floor must of felt?. Coming from such an icon. Now if Ann can recognize Floors talent so do us fans. Thank you again for an enjoyable semi emotional reaction.

You'll hear a surprise voice. And it's a great story and video. Sabaton only does war history songs. May sound weird, but they are great. They are from Sweden.

My favorite of Floor’s covers during lockdown was M83’s Oblivion. Alone was actually written and recorded by a band called i-Ten about 4 years before Heart covered it and made it famous. Floor is my favorite singer ever, but Ann Wilson might be second.

Her voice is so magnificent, and she is just so humble and sweet about it.

There are many vocal coaches and reactor channels on youtube who, after hearing Floor, were entirely blown away by her vocal qualities. Many of them think Floor is among the top female vocalists in the world. i entirely agree; Floor can sing opera and everything in between. There are few, if any, female vocalists who can do that she is one of a kind!

Well, this is probably my favorite of Floor's Covid -times covers. She's done this a couple of times before. But this version more mature - vulnerable and still powerful. The grand piano is provided by her long time friend and collaborator SIR Joost van den Broek (After Forever, Ayreon). ⛄👍

It's her old friend and bandmember from After Forever and ReVamp - Sir Joest Van den Broek on grand piano Floor and Joest goes way back and are close friends. In my opinion - this is by far the greatest version of this song ever - and Floor and Joest have done this song in several occasions earlier!

It was one of first times she played this live, and everyone pushed her to make a full on re-recording of this after she first covered it with After Forever. When this was released, none better than Ann Wilson herself said that Floor's cover of this was the best she had ever heard, and wanted to get into Floor's music... not bad for some unknown singer from the Netherlands. 😉

Floor does an amazing job with this song. Just FYI, this is not a Heart song. They did it as a cover as well. It was originally done by a group called i-Ten in 1983.

Hi again. Well as luck will have it, this is not a song by Heart. The original writers of this song are 2 brothers from the group "I - Ten". Heart did their cover, now Floor. By the way, I your laugh makes me laugh. lol Back to the video. Ahh, just Floor and a piano. Can never go wrong there. One thing I absolutely love, admire, and respect about Floor and her home and solo videos, is that she's literally singing the songs while recording the videos when 99% of the other singers are lip syncing or singing on a lower note. I found this out when she was doing a cover of a song and heard her singing the song while the vocal track was already playing back. Well, it was video her husband filmed of her while she was recording a cover and their dog wasn't letting her sing because he kept barking. 😂 That's so cool! A brave decision to take on a classic song sung by Nancy Wilson one of the all time great female singers. She sang it at a slower tempo that the original and with just a piano accompaniment so there was nowhere to hide. But Floor just nailed it. She has this ability to wring every ounce of emotion out of each word. If you want to hear a real powerhouse of a performance react to Floor’s cover of Lara Fabian’s “Adagio”. The piano accompaniment was played by Joost van Den Broek, who was the keyboard player in her band 'After Forever' and if you ever take a chance on reacting to Ayreon, he is the concert MD and keyboard player on all of the live concerts. Heart' version was a cover of the I-10 original of course, but this is a great interpretation.😃

Then Floor coverd the song by herself on the show and i was crying my eyes out she naild the high notes like it was nothing!! And Eufhoria, is also a great cover!!

The covers were created during the pandemic and are an interim solution. She didn't know if she should do a solo album or a second Northward album. That's why they were recorded by her husband Hannes, who discovered a new talent in himself.

Ann Wilson is one of the greatest female vocalists out there, to do her songs justice you have to be... one of the greatest female vocalists out there, or you have to be Floor... that'll do it. ;) I had some trouble getting into this cover tho, not the vocal parts.. those are immaculate, but the stripped down piano arrangement i had to get used to. (but now i love it!!) I mean.. it's Floor we're talking about, she can sing anything, even sang a part of the phonebook and rocked that lol

Floor is an amazing singer. I have ordered her debut album on pre sale and can't wait to hear it complete. Just a suggestion. But you should listen to "How's the heart"... Make it a double feature. First the lyric video and then the acoustic version. Warning... Keep breathing..

Tim Ackerman? wrote the song about his brother who is a paraplegic after an accident. Her performance brings tears to Tim's eyes. And she does performances for each of the other "contestants" on the show. They each do this in turn and they are ALL excellent performers.
