NAHABA is a performance. Their song’s about a girl who lies under fire and on broken glass, the guy tells her not to be afraid and not to cry, although he himself is seriously wounded. This is a very strong song. I hope their act will be as strong

Insane floor level , and sky high highs for this selections. We can clearly see year by year that Ukraine is just too good at picking songs for ESC. Their hooks, musicality and production is always top notch. I do not think that I was ever able to say that I dislike Ukrainian entry. Sometimes i prefer other songs (simple as that) but they are true contender for every ESC for a reason. They are not slackers. Meanwhile some countries are just existing and literally can’t ( or are eager to just participate) send good song for years.
I’m a huge fan of Melovin, and I was so afraid that I won’t like his new song for Eurovision, but the first seconds of the song and I started crying because it is sooo magical!❤ I can’t stop listening it, he is my winner💪🏻
Ziferblat ❤ the song is about people who had to leave their home but “fears are gone” and they will come back . Even if it’s not the best place to be it is still home. Lyrics is very strong if you considering a context💙💛 thank you a lot for your reaction 💙

The last song is actually incredibly strong because it doesn't have a lot of lyrics, but it hits our feelings hard: "and with broken glass under the attacks you shouted to me not to cry". Combined with the beat, the change of tone and the aggression they are screaming - it all blends into the picture of the shelling we see, where under broken glass and pieces of concrete a dying man screams to his beloved "live and don't cry". It's very powerful, it tugs hard. Similar effect was in the song "Lullaby" by Krutь (Vidbir 2023): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JMZzTsNYq5s.html, where a lullaby was sung to a child, where daddy protects from evil beasts (allusion to a military daddy in war). And the colors of the singer were black and red, her eyes were filled with anger and frustration, she was screaming on stage some parts of the song and we all cried in our family. But this will not be understood on the eurovision stage, it is not an experience that everyone knows. It's the same here: an incredible song, but very underground. Thanks for your reaction! It's a pleasure to watch you, you`re so nice)) I think all Ukrainians will agree with me that the story and emotion broadcast by NAHABA is the closest to us now. To be strong not because you want to be, but because there is no other choice. It's great that through the selection process the band will find its audience, but obviously it's not for Europe. And the one with the biggest fanbase will go to the competition, as always.

Probably, I will vote for Ingret, cause I loved song, and amazing voice, but my favorite is Nahaba….cause of my age and music taste, cause of words and deep pain, I also like another their songs, Vesnianka just broke my heart…. Anyway, will see tomorrow live, for to be sure in this hard choice.

I voted for Anka, but I understand why Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil won - their song is more catchy. The third place for me is Yagody - they are very high quality but without a hook.
I am waiting to watch live version tomorrow as I decided to have a relaxing sunday after few weeks and with a fresh mind :) But the selection was masive by music quality. Amazing how Ukraine takes this content with passion, desire and prestige on every single level. So many other countries, still including ours should learn from it.
We all fell this pain every time in Ukraine. That's why I can't listen NAHABA "Glass". There are everything about the war and our fight. We're just tired...
its very hard to properly understand this but I try. Good thing is you have other emotions you can catch in other songs. Honestly I was not cryibg because of the situation in Ukraine as I think after those years we are all imune pittifuly. But as a human, father, some songs just open emotions I normaly wont let out.
@@JanBors I would never want to experience what I feel now during the war. Someone says you have to go through tragedy to become human. I'm not sure. Surviving a tragedy doesn't mean becoming better, it means becoming stronger. I just wanted to be happy, didn't feel so deeply.
