So Bojo and Sunak failed to ensure they heard scientific advice, because they presumed somebody else would do it. Bojo decided based on his "feelings" without bothering to read the report by the competent best qualified people. How is that not criminally negligent? There's so much evidence of shambolic unprofessional practices, but the fish rot from the head, they failed to recognise their absolute incompetence and were winging it for political reasons, leading to the mixed messages and appalling bad decision making.

I got to despise Tony Blair in the long run, however that last Labour government improved the NHS enormously. My partner is vulnerable but still stepped up as she is a band 5 nurse. She has described what I can only term as a field hospital in a war zone. She still has long covid and PTSD. There needs to be a criminal trial

I expect Boris and his chancellor looked at it from the point of view that the more pensioners they could see off the more money they could save in pension payouts and health costs. The plan to get rid of them from hospitals and put them in care homes to help spread the deadly virus was really cunning and worked like a dream come true for them. @@alasdaircook5673 just 6 weeks after supposedly being in ICU to receive some oxygen(?), he was having garden parties with his wife and new born kid, if I had been in ICU with covid I would be extremely worried about it and wouldn't want my missus and baby getting it. I know someone who worked at St Thomas when he was in there, and they don't believe he ever went ICU either.

All of this, the circus of our due process and rules, only shows how impotent the British people really are. No punishment in any real sense, no genuine remorse, nothing but contempt. It's insulting, I hope he never has a peaceful day for the rest of his life, that he is treated how he deserves to be by everyone he meets. We need genuine change in how our government operates, the public should have the power to trigger a GE when confidence becomes so low. They're accountable to nobody for too long, it's a farce.

Great to get the info, I have a problem about all of this. Many minimum wage workers, delivery drivers, shelf fillers, warehouse workers, bus drivers police, ambulance, nurses , oil workers, many many more workers that never had much time off (if ant attall) have everyone forgotten about them? And did their results show the worth of lickdown? And were they "expendable?

My daughter was a nurse in a GP surgery when Covid started Very soon she got Covid because they had no PROPER PPE and were trying to proct themselves with plastic bags !!! Incidentally that practice is owned by an AMERICAN company treating NHS patients being paid for by NHS At what cost ?? The selloff has already begun !!!

Remember when at first one of his chums (an Australian businessman) literally was given a total monopoly to charge over £200 for a mandatory test AND also the monopoly on hotel accommodation quarantine ?! Eat out to help out was put in place for a few reasons , one of them being so that rich people could continue going to posh restaurants because cooking is beneath them .. same as why certain areas were not affected by the tier system ,, because MPs lived and drank in those areas .. this is FACTUALLY TRUE
