Just koreans rapping in japanese. I can't rap in my own language, wouldn't dare to try in in another...Respect to BTS and RM, Suga and j-hope.

That garden was built by their team and it was their first time seeing it. Their expressions captured in that moment was their genuine first impressions.

I remember how much I smiled when I listened to this song during the pandemic, they truly uplifted me in so many ways then. I love them sm 🥺💜

BTS has created a new rap style: they can rap as hard, loud and fast as it gets or they can rap in such a cute, tender voice, slow pace. Love all their Japanese songs. The lyrics are trully about staying positive or staying in the bright side but I always think this boys are gold or they have the touch of Midas. Everything they touch turns into gold.

You know when a song just lifts up your spirit after a truly awful day? Stay gold did that for me and by doing so brought me to BTS. It will forever hold a special place in my heart. 💜

Stay Gold is an original Japanese Song for their Japanese Album "Map of the Soul: The Journey"(July 2020). It's personally not my fav Original Japanese song of theirs but it's still a good song, I do like the rapline verses a lot. Most of the time their original Japanese songs are by other writers as Japanese is not their native language but a lot of times they do contribute lyrics especially on songs that were originally in Korean like with the rapline verses. Many of the boys are fluent in Japanese but I think since it's not their native language they feel more comfortable having native speakers contribute to the songs. Same for their English songs. Personally because of this I feel that their Original Japanese and English songs have their own unique sound or style that is different from their Korean songs. Japanese songs often feel more ballad like or epic like for a movie and their English songs feel more mainstream pop sounding, fun and upbeat (these were also released during the pandemic so that has something to do with it too). BTS have done several Japanese albums first one being "Wake Up" in 2014 although they had released a few singles of Japanese versions of their Korean songs before then. They have also release several Japanese MV's being the Japanese versions of their Korean songs like with "Airplane pt. 2". They did Japanese MV versions of No More Dream, Boy in Luv, Danger, I Need U, Run, Blood Sweat & Tears etc They have some lovely original Japanese songs which I prefer over the Korean songs that were translated to Japanese myself. Like: Wake Up, Wishing on a Star, Don't Leave Me, Let Go, Lights, Crystal Snow, Your Eyes Tell and Film Out.

This is one of my favourites. Especially through Covid, it meant alot x

Bts louder than bombs so good

I’m so dating myself… but I was waiting for a reference to “Stay gold, Ponyboy”. 😂 My husband says this every time he hears this song. It’s appropriate though because thinking of the days when I read books like The Outsiders does bring back a lot of happy memories of being young and dreaming of endless possibilities. Stay Gold always lifts my mood. Love your reactions! I look forward to Friday just for you guys!! 💜

so not sure if Viv’s mentioned this, but RM learned how to speak English by watching old episodes of Friends, so think maybe the old tv is depicting a time in his life where he was sitting with his dog laughing watching friends, because Suga also shows a bike helmet which would be from when he did delivery service as a teen. This song/MV was released June 19, 2020. It was three months into the stay at home order. I lived alone with my two dogs. Both of my children were deemed essential workers; I had not seen them in several months. This beginning of this video reflected how I felt. Alone and isolated in dark uncertain time. The message was hopeful and gave me a boost. I put it on my playlist; it reminded me to stay gold--to remain positive, enjoy the simple things, we would come out of this.

So they did japenes album after each era, with all school era there came few singles (songs from first albums that were recorded again in japanese) after youth trilogy was album "Wake up" after Wings album was "Youth", with Love yourself trilogy come album "Face yourself" with MOTS7 came album MOTS7: The Journey, and last album was "BTS The best" compilation album the best japanese songs... Hmm each album had 2-3 totally new song made especially for this albums and rest songs are song from original albums rerecorded in japanese.... They only to it for Japan bc Japan Has bigger music market then Korea and Japanese music market is second biggest after america, for band from Korea it is easier to go and try in Japan then america, it is normal in kpop industry, or it was normal, bc BTS changed it and opened doors for american market bc of how succesful they were... But BTS stayed with doing songs in Japanese. And they only do special albums for Japan. Except 3 english songs. Rest all is in korean. There were one time they performed on thai if I remember coreclly it was Mic drop, they learned and did it on concert for fans.

This was not my favorite chorus, but with time I started liking it more and more. And it’s so impressive that they can rap in Korean, English and Japanese
