REACTION: Floor Jansen & Henk Poort - Phantom Of The Opera | Beste Zangers 2019 

Henk played the phantom for years ago... Floor was a fan of him.. Henk agreed for this duet only if he could sing with her at a nightwish concert ... this is also recorded..

Love how much props you give to henk, often when I see reactions from this song of them, most just praise Floor and she is amazing. Henk is equal as amazing!

Ty for the react Queenie :D I fully get what you are saying, you know exactly what to expect from Floor because you know how good she is and what she can do, so when she does it, to you its not as big of a surprise as it is to most other people. But the lesser known factor Henk, did get that shiver from you, that people get from Floor (and Henk!) so the comment from that person still stands tall hehehe. But regardless of any of that, i do love this version a great deal, 2 true vocal powerhouses on one stage.. what's not to love about that :) I think they added the right amount of rock too, after all.. its still a family show so it should be more or less open to all ages. Doing it like this might have been the safer choice but it did reach way more people by doing it that way, than it usually would.. and it even opened the doors for quite a few new Nightwish fans, so.. all in all, its a big win in my book :)

Henk Poort is joining with nightwish play "Phantom of the Opera"live 2020, But all concerts are canceled this year. Maybe next year 2021

It's quite simple; Music is supposed to entertain; and as it looked, you were well entertained. Tarja vs. Floor is not an issue at all.Both are extraordinary singers,both are friends with each other,and it is good and right that tastes are different. What's important is that you respect Floor, and you do. Everything else doesn't matter.

Great performance! I discovered Nightwish just about 2 years ago (with Floor) so it is different for me.

Knowing what to expect naturally dampens a reaction. And you don't have the benefit of, say, the experience of a vocal coach in giving an in-depth analysis of the music. But what your viewers really want is to see a genuine reaction. Whether you like it or hate it or just feel blase about reacting to the same singer every time doesn't matter as much as what you think of that particular song and how the artist performed. I've been watching a guy who normally reacts to rap artists. Nightwish is his first metal band. He isn't that impressed with the lyrics, as they get a bit repetitive compared to rap music. But it's his genuine reaction to the music that his viewers want, and that's what he gives.

Well, this is Nightwish's arrangement of the Phantom with a smaller studio band. Funny that i have a same kind of experience with NW versio when i saw it the first time. I knew the Phantom song and the Nightwish superficially. I knew that Tarja can handle Chistine's role but who on earth is going to be Eric. There's no penguin coated masked gentleman on the stage, but only long haired young men. Then Marco stood out and delivered an amazing performance and i was blown away. Both versions are excellent. But we all know already that Floor is a vocal beast so she can't surprise us anymore. Maybe only by turning into Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, heaven förbid.

Dont feel bad about only hearing the night wish version. The only version i have ever heard is this one. And honestly i don't think any other version will compare. I haven't even seen the movies. Original or remake. I am rethinking that now because this to me was freaking amazing.

Fair enough. I like Floor's version better because she puts so much more in it for me. But of course Tarja is much better at opera, that is just a fact. Although, in Shoemaker Floor has hit the next lever for herself. Good reaction video.

If you haven't seen the later nightwish.........Floor doesn't sing operatic style as much, she uses a wide range of styles......nothing like Tarja really. I hope you do react to the newer stuff at some stage :)

Tarja might be better at opera, but with Nightwish I prefer Floor because of her versatilty. Try Ghost Love Score and especially listen to the finaly where she can switch from her opera voice to her pop voice and immidiately belt away like there is no tomorrow. Don't know any female singer that can do that.

Nightwish phantom of the opera was my introduction to nightwish. So I understand where you are coming from. Thing I loved about the show. Tim was the only one that had a clue Floor could even sing. An she was virtually unknown in her own home country. Where as everyone else was household names. Then go outside the Netherlands. Floor is worldwide known. An everyone else is unknown. Ironic.

I love both Floor and Tarja's versions of Phantom but... the reason your friend had such a high for the original show is its all around brilliance and the award winning performances of the original cast, Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford. I understand you. Floor is an exceptionally good singer, but in this video Henk is the better of the two. The warm and rich sound of his voice alone... This is a completely different level.

Everybody is entitled to his or her opinion.....its just a matter of taste ...i just dont like the nasal(english accent) tone of tarja and she doesnt give me chills like floor does.....it is like floor is a ferrari and tarja a volvo... 9 out of ten people if they could choose they would choose the ferrari and 1 would choose the volvo and thats fine!..so you choose the volvo😉😀😎( they are both good cars)
