Her physical presentation gives a stage presence almost unmatched. I always have to watch a few times to see what she does with her eyes and hands and movements. She emulates these era's almost to perfection. The second half all I could do is laugh with you! She is so vocally gifted it's ridiculous. Great reaction.
Unparalleled body/hand acting. She uses her body, hands, arms, and even her hair and amazing nails. Kudos to everyone involved in the look and choreography.
Haley Reinhart does create original music. She has released four albums and has 117 songwriting credits. Because she's so talented and loves all sorts of music, the songs don't fall under one particular genre/style. Though most have a retro feel because she's an old-school musician. Most viewed song off her last album, "Honey There's The Door:" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sADOjoNux9o.html Her most recent song released in August, "Roll The Dice:" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xXoZZtvRJNE.html PMJ does tour. In fact before the pandemic they would have two groups touring at once. Haley Reinhart, Morgan James, and Ariana Savalas were part of their first major European and US tour. "Creep" and "All About That Bass" -- their two top videos in terms of views - were recorded on a day off in Europe. Now tickets are much more and the talent is good, but not the biggest names identified with PMJ.
Scott wrote a book a year or so ago called "Outside the jukebox" It's a great read it tells the story of how he put this collective together. There's quite a bit about Haley too.
@@HaleysTusk Ha, I know you do :) Your reputation precedes you. I've seen your posts for a decade (give or take) I am officially jealous. Nice job with the videos BTW. Thanks!
@@gerrymcguire7494 Getting fueled by the creativity of some of these artists only inspires me to do the best I can, especially when the artist I help promote is someone I believe in and I still get a thrill editing her videos. I think it's fair to say I've probably seen more live Haley performances than anyone NOT named Reinhart lol. I'm glad you enjoy it, it's a labor of love, cheers
Subscribed fror HR and PMJ. Incredible performance and of course the sensational arrangement. Lets not forget the fun of the Sax/? player slipping in and out of screen. Such fun group
Side note about Haley Reinhart: she apparently is very adamant in the recording studio that there is rarely if ever any effects on her voice and absolutely NEVER has an autotune correct her. LEGEND.
I don't know how many original songs she has but she has two songs I'm in love with. One is free, and the other is called undone. They are amazing. Also can you react to her version of Benny and the jets. It's one of my favorite performances I've ever seen on idol.
Subscribing hoping you review MUCH MORE Haley! With PMJ check out Seven Nation Army, Oops I Did It Again, Black Hole Sun. As noted, she has some terrific solo music out as well to review (Check -- Honey There's The Door, Don't Know How To Love You, Roll The Dice). She even did a sultry sexy jazz song with the actor Jeff Goldblum (My Baby Just Cares For Me). She is simply one of the best singers of our generation.
I went to a PMJ concert a few months ago in NYC. AMAZING. Best concert I've even been to and I've been to many over my 60+ years of concert going. Agee totally with the comment that Angelina would make a nice fit with these arrangements and her soulful, jazz style. Great reaction again - thanks

Quite a visual to pause the video at that spot (her back to the camera). Somehow, by sheer coincidence, every male reviewer/"reactioner", and I must have watched half a dozen, pauses at that spot to "explain" his thoughts. LOL!
Yep, Haley does a slow turn with a mind numbing wiggle in a tight sequined dress, and you're like "oh yeah, I forgot to mention she has this rasp in her voice...." Pretty sure your brain short circuited around the obvious.
@@timjester8555 I think that I'll borrow the term, "mind numbing wiggle". Good band name. I have the video on rotation on my playlist and it always makes me think how Haley gives a lesson to today's pop stars that you don't have to be vulgar to be super sexy.
@@jmchez just incredible vocal control, and wonderfully constructed performance and arrangements. As amazing as she is, the band, Scott, the video and audio guys all do such a great job and deserve more credit than they get. And serious appreciation and a spot on my Christmas card list for whoever picks out those dresses! My goodness!
@@timjester8555 Oh, there's "No Doubt" that Scott and the band are amazing; quite unique in this day. The production value of their videos keep getting better and, in this one, dress, hair, makeup and nails are, truly, Hollywood Golden Age glamorous. That's one of the reasons why Haley's toss of her hair and wiggle have such an effect on us.
Haley: Seven Nation Army is a must. She does jazz, she rocks, she does her own music too. She does it all. Her live White Rabbit is great...Can't Find My Way Home, Her jazz with No Vacancy is terrific ...nothing she cannot do.
What impressed me is that not that she just has an amazing voice, she has a presence. She acts it out. I have seen too many vocalists, from Opera to Rock and Roll and Jazz, and everyting else, frankly, who stand there stiff as a board and deliver. Which is fine, sometimes very inpressive, but leave you flat. Hailey brings the whole thing. She does not just sing, she takes the role of, say, "actress." It is refreshing...
If you're in the mood to check out some new Haley releases, there's her single "Roll The Dice" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xXoZZtvRJNE.html And if want to see Haley live, pull out all the stops on a classic jazz song, fronting a big band, there's "Gee Baby Ain't I Good to You" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e5sqfroBFPU.html
The only reason why Haley didn't win American Idol was because American Idol permitted power-voting, as opposed to one vote per individual voting. Hence, Haley ended up getting ripped off. Meanwhile, Haley's own music is excellent as she is a terrific and very eclectic songwriter. However, her music isn't played on the radio and of course, she isn't permitted to perform her music on network TV either because instead of hiring a professional business manager with many years of experience under his or her belt to run her music career for her, Haley instead foolishly manages her own career and like most music artists, she doesn't have the first freaking clue about how to run a business. Indeed, she is her own worse enemy. Thus, Haley's career has remained stagnant and wallowed in mediocrity for over 10 years and even though, as you can see, she is easily a world class talent. Meanwhile, if Haley was professionally managed by a pro, she'd be as big as Adele is today. Indeed, it's very hard to watch her throw her career down the drain the way she is doing, but it's her life. Oh yeah, although Haley is the primary reason why PMJ became a viral touring sensation, today she no longer tours with them.
Limited by Covid? ;) Seriously, where have you been? PMJ hasn't toured for a while because of the pandemic. The one coming this year is their first in...I guess 3 years, actually?
First time posting here, love your reactions. Check out Haley doing a playful jazz song with Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, My Baby Just Cares from 3 years ago There's even a sax solo ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3ipXA9lJzc0.html
