The guy who played before Stevie Ray Vaughan is Stevie's older brother Jimmy Vaughan, also a great guitarist. Love this performance, thanks for doing this one!

The man in the brown leather jacket is Stevie Ray's older brother, Jimmie Vaughan. Another blues guitarist that found fame and fortune with the #Fabulous Thunder Birds back in the eighties.

Oh, Jimmie's band is called The Fabulous Thunderbirds, they play more 50's style music.

For me watching/experiencing stellar musicians just being in the groove with the music and each other is everything. Even though the video quality is not great that groove will lower your blood pressure☺️. The guitarist before Stevie was his older brother Jimmie Vaughan who Stevie adored. The double neck guitar was probably used later for a unique performance of Pipeline by the brothers. There is a video of the brothers performing "Pipeline" that you have to see to believe🎶🎸‼️. It would be fun for everyone to see. I am really enjoying your Stevie Ray reactions💯. Found you early with Home Free and over the moon you are going down this 🐇🐇🐇🎸🎶hole as you have barely scratched the surface. Yesterday,8/27/23, was the 33rd anniversary of the day we lost our beloved Stevie Ray. He does have a large RU-vid following that will find you I promise. 👋👏🙌

Sadly, I was at Stevie Ray Vaughn's last concert the night his helicopter crashed after the show at Alpine Valley, Wisconsin August 26th 1990. The fog was so bad after the show that we stopped and got a hotel room on the way home. The lineup was SRV, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Stevie's brother Jimmie and Buddy Guy. RIP SRV!

I've always heard people call them 'double neck' guitars. My heart hurts when I see Stevie performing during a haunting melody. This song was beautiful yet sad at the same time. In a good way tho ..
