this is anthony warlow singing "this is the moment". i love this song it was part of a concert called "the main event" in 1998. A concert with Anthony, John Farnham and olivia newton John. Anthony is a favourite of mine, and played the phantom in the musical "phantom of the opera" in australia. In my opinion the best phantom ever! Enjoy!

Anthony Warlow had not long recovered from a long battle to defeat Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma when he, Olivia and John toured with this concert. There were worries that the illness and the treatments may have hurt his voice. He worked so hard to get back to this superlative standard. The only tell is the loss of his thick glossy locks and that happens to many people without fighting for their lives. Similar to Livvie and John, Anthony is a terrifically nice & kind person. Glad you enjoyed it, me too.

Was lucky enough to see John Farnham, Anthony Warlow and Olivia Newton-John perform in this concert "the Main Event". Simply brilliant. We are spoilt here in Australia with our homegrown talent

I was lucky enough to see Anthony play Phantom of the Opera. While this might not appeal to everyone, there is no doubt this guy can sing. And as seen when he was with Farnham, he can be funny, and take the piss out of himself.

The Main Event concert was stunning from start to finish showcasing Olivia Newton-John, Anthony Warlow and John Farnham in solo, duet and trio performances. Anthony's duet with Olivia with "Love Is A Gift" is just gorgeous. It was This Is The Moment that drew my attention to Anthony and he did a brilliant job here. Love your reaction. He's currently starring in Chicago playing in Melbourne at the moment.

I was very lucky to be at this very concert when they recorded it , Anthony , John and Olivia were fantastic . The music was just outstanding every song was amazing , I am new to your channel and enjoying …. if you haven’t already done so do yourself a favour and take a look at John and Olivia singing “ please don’t ask me “ so much feeling between them . I still have The main event tea shirt I bought on the way out …. Fantastic performance by all ❤️❤️❤️

I love watching you two. You are so entertaining and a lot of fun. I love Anthony Warlow incredible voice and yes i think he was the best phantom, it was terrible when he had to give up that role half way through to have cancer treatment. Anyhow keep on keeping us entertained. Luv ya ❤

This version is the best! Anthony lives and breathes the lyrics and the music. I saw him as the Phantom his first time round when he was in his early 30s. He was always magnificent. Since surviving cancer, his voice has gained a depth to it which makes him even more magnificent and his rendition of this song showcases it perfectly!

I've seen Warlow in both phantom (the second time he did it. I missed his first time doing it. After leaving show he had cancer but overcame it and years later returned to do show again) and also man of la Mancha. He is awesome doing don Quixote.

I love the chemistry between the two of you. Just the subtle little eye movements when one of you says something - brilliant! And yes indeed, it's all been said. Anthony Is, in my humble opinion, of of the best musical performers of all time. I'm seeing him in April (2024) in Chicago (not the city, the show) in Melbourne and I can't wait. The man is a genius - I hope I don't get the understudy for his performance.

There is a video on You Tube that is about Australian Anthony Warlow and this song. Anthony had never sung, 'This Is The Moment', from the musical, 'Jekyll and Hyde'. The powers-that-be wanted to put out a recording of the song. Thousands of singers from around the world, including those who had performed the song in the musical, applied to audition for that and Anthony Warlow was eventually chosen to do so. And what a performance ! Every time I hear Anthony sing this song I get thrill-chills all over my body. I have a CD of his songs, including this one, and I love it !

Anthony sang the original theatrical production of Jekyll and Hyde from which came this song. He is BRILLIANT as Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde. Truly a "tour de force" for him. Check out some of his other performances from Jekyll and Hyde including Confrontation.
