Scott is an actor now. He was in the series Friday Night Lights, Heart of Dixie (he got to sing in some episodes), Scorpion and most recently the last season of Lucifer.

Fun Fact, Halo is such an impactful series because it was the first ever Modern Day First Person Shooter Game. It truly revolutionized gaming and had a massive influence to the gaming world today

This hits extra hard for me. I just found out last night my old friend, roommate and fireteam member passed away. R.I.P. Richard a.k.a. TheKurgan. He could really piss me off but I cant believe he is gone. So many emotions this brings up.

You're a damn decent guy, Dave. I always love your animated reactions but the post script on this video was sobering and you didn't cut away. I could see your demeanor change from reacting to the "music", to feeling what they needed to share about losing Rek so suddenly. You gave it the respectful tone it deserved and I thank you for it. We were not prepared for the post-script at the end when we first watched this... that dedication at the end choked us up _hard_ when we first saw it! Still, the song was just amazing, and the reason behind the cover is... well, it's both heartwarming and heartbreaking T_T

I am pushing 42 and this game means a lot to me and my husband. It was the first game we could agree on to play with one another lol and boy did we play and bond even more over it (we were dating at the time). This game...such a revolutionary game then and now. My husband and I still talk about the memories of playing it lol.

I'm the same age as you, so when you mention the nostalgia.... Just.... Yes. All the yes. My biggest memory of Halo was Freshman year of high school, a group of about 3 or 4 of us bypassed the schools security features (to put it politely) and installed Halo on all student accounts. Then we'd all go to the library or computer rooms to play. It took the school a few months before they realized why there was such a sudden interest in the library lol. Looking back on it, I wonder if it had more of an influence on me than I thought, as I'm pursuing my cybersecurity degree to become a Certified Ethical Hacker/pentester. Lol. The story about Rek brought tears to my eyes. This was a good reaction. Thank you!

Memories man. The way I did my bday way back was I'd save up for a bit from seasonal work n set up TVs in multiple rooms invite friends over, have em bring their xbox's and have a halo lan party with pizza drinks n snacks.

You can see Rek if you pull up VPs Boy Bands in 5 Minutes. During one of the songs, the guys are standing huddled around a steel can that looks like it has a fire in it. Rek walks up with a sub sandwich in his hands and gives it to Earl.

The cool thing about the halo 2 version of the theme is called the mjolnir mix, and the guitar work is done by one of the best sounding guitarists I have heard... look up the name Steve Vai

Right as the plasma grenade explodes, you can hear someone in the background saying "killing spree" at around 4:20 in this video. i know you said you wanted to hear them do sounds like "Double Kill" and "Killimenjaro" so i thought i would bring that part up.

@@prestonjones1653 On a piano there are 88 keys, each representing a note going from A0 at the lowest all the way up to a C8 at the highest. The note Geoff sang, the B0, is the 3rd lowest key on a piano, it goes A0, A sharp 0, then what he sang the B0. It's utterly insane.
