Wow, your voice is as low as the deepest ocean here on earth... When i heard this the first time, i think i reacted the same way. upmost impressive! Good job, all of you!
If you are new to the channel. I do quite a few reactions to bass singers. I have dubbed them “dragonslayers” over the past three years because that’s what we are hearing. The voice of dragons, slain and captured 🤣
@@whatitdodave On just the fact alone that this just solidifies my comment, you've got a new subscriber, sir. I've actually seen a few of your videos. Enjoyed each one.
@@laundrygoddess4 I actually prefer his tone to "smother" basses (which tend to sound breathier down there). Nothing like the sound of solid, healthy cord closure in the fiery pits of the profundo range 😊
Well, I know of about 25-30 people who can go as low and clear as Eric - and I happen to be one of them. The scary thing, Eric can also go up to an F5, which is 5 semitones higher than an average tenor. Eric's useful range is over 4 octaves.
That Bass Voice = Eric Holloway, the man is from another world. Geoff Castellucci and Tim Faust, amazing as they are, have nothing on Eric's sheer gravitational pull. The man's voice is a singularity.
Geoff has a pretty quiet voice (self-described), and I don't believe Tim's voice is particularly loud. Eric has the power down low, and yeah absolutely Geoff and Tim can't do what Eric does. (to be clear btw, I also freaking love what Geoff and Tim do - they're both incredible singers)
Geoff is definitely my favorite to listen to, but those are my top 3 bass singers. Eric is just on a freaking different level though. It's not even fair hahahaha
@@darthrevan1712 Some people really are blessed genetically/anatomically. I find it interesting how some people's speaking and singing voices are so different. Like Tim and Geoff have naturally deep speaking voices so automatically are basses. Some have higher speaking voices that I would think are baritones or tenors but can hit those bottom notes.
Hahahhaha I’m the dragon harmonizing at the top about to strike some people down. “I don’t wanna do it but I gotta do it” That is a spot on interpretation of our cover. Thank you
I was watching and listening. As a singer myself pulling apart each voice is something I do, and watching each person sing their part. You guys were all amazing.
Those high harmonies just set it off! I wanna know who that is. Mr. Eric Holloway is the guy with the voice from the caverns of Tartarus. Marwan just dropped a song featuring him, if you want more. I like the 2nd soloist as well-very smooth, lighter voice-you don’t expect him to have that low note in him. LOL. Great reaction!!
Imagine you're in the navy, sailing in fog, and you start to hear this being sung somewhere from the fog. It'd definitely make me feel some type of way 😅 might as well join the pirates at that point 😂
Gotta love how the bass hits you over and over in this like an angry sailor's oar. It's so awesome to see how your reaction went from "wow" to "holy shit" to "I can't. I just can't. I have ceased to can.". I have watched this like three times in a row now. Priceless.
The SUPER deep bass with beard you heard was Eric Holloway. If you want to here more from him I would highly suggest marwan Ayman's cover of heat waves featuring Eric Holloway
Don't their voices just rattle your bones? Dragonslayers everyone of them especially Eric who is a true basso profoundly. Thanks for reacting to them. You really need to react to the new Colm McGuiness version of Let it Be. He unleashes his Bass and his Gaelic. Really awesome and you won't want to miss it.
Nooooo!!! They broke DAVE! Come back to us man! Sing a high note.... drink some water.... I don't do tiktok but loved this song/version of it. Come on man...breath!
Been married since 1995, and I can say I love him more now since he has grown more confident in himself through our years together, success in career, and our children growing up. The more he succeeded the more confident and comfortable he is with himself and me.
I can't tell you enough how much I freaking LOVE your reactions!! I laugh so hard and watch them over and over. Some awesome dragon slayers in this one! 🎶
The main reason why I like to watch bass singer reaction vids is to see others reactions, because almost every person I see react to these guys is bewildered and/or say that shivers run down their spines. meanwhile I'm just sitting here, shivers still running down my spine, just smiling.
"This man sound like he been eatin' bullets." 😭😭😭😂🤣😂🤣😂 That was absolutely TRANSCENDENT...I felt that in my CHEST! That voice could raise the dead. This dude could side hustle as a DEFIBRILLATOR, cuz uh-HWHAT?!?
your eyes hahahhaa and the way you cannot control your facial expressions when Eric Holloway starts singing - for the second time hahahaha .... priceless !!!
RIGHT?!?!?! I was wheezing like Muttley, holding my chest with both hands, at Dave's 47 levels of DONE in this one!!! And the POUTING at the end....! *laughs to the point of coughing*
I LOVE your reaction to this track! I had the same look on my face when the singing started … and then I hid under the blankets, but couldn’t stop listening! 💕 their sound is AWESOME!
That song blows my mind! BTW you’re one of the most enjoyable reactors I’ve watched! I “feel” your reactions which intensify my own which are already pretty dang deep!
LOL Dave🤣. Simalac and the whole nine yards!! Was laughing from start to finish and was imagining Vikings in my head. Loved it. Am going to have to watch this several times.
So I am working on my low register, and I was pretty happy with how I was following along! And then came "greeeeeen" at @2:25 and I realized I am nowhere close... SO GOOD!
So the lowest note was F#1! The F#1 is at the end of the song. Bobby Bass told me that over on Instagram when he posted it 22w ago❤ I love this song so much 🎉 Also I've already watched your reaction and gave it a like however I wanted to watch it again
When that popped up in my feed my 1st thought was ok sure, another cover of that. Nope! It was a treat and your reaction captured what I felt in 1st listen, and then some!! Great job
The sad thing is, that's sad in a good way, that no matter how many ya see "bass singers cover" in the title of any song they do. They always find a way to surprise ya. Awesome song
