REACTION to James Blunt's Monsters - EMOTIONAL 

James’ dad was dying from stage 4 kidney disease . He only had one kidney as he had previously donated one . He only had a short time to live as a donor could not be found. This is his dad in this video and was the first time his dad heard the song . After the video was released a distant cousin came forward to be tested and was a match so he donated a kidney to James’ dad. His dad is doing well the last I heard. James and his dad were both military men and feelings were not always shown. James did a wonderful job on this video. His feelings about his dad were very real.

James and his father were both in the military. When this was being recorded James insisted that it was done live, no editing, just raw emotion. And everyone in the room was in tears, except his father who just asked, "why is everyone crying? I'm still here. " And I've never seen anyone listen to this and come out dry eyed.
