Hey everybody! We hope you all enjoy this reaction to a Queen Deep Cut! Not a very popular song but still a cool tune! For those of you who don’t know it, what did you think of it? let us know! Don’t forget to subscribe for more!👍🏻🔥💛💪
The boy is right. The best Queen songs were never released as a single. Exactly my thought when I started to be a genuine Queen fan. The Millionaire Waltz is one of their best songs. Hopefully you'll do more Queen reactions!!
I got thown out of a Queen group for saying Bo Rhap is NOT the best Queen song. Got told I should die and shit, This was one of my examples and Black Queen
@@nickwall2497 Jeez that is not a true Queen group as someone who has been listening non stop and been in the Queen rabbit hole for 6 months I must admit Bo Rhap gets tiring I don't deny it's legendary status but Queen really do have some hidden gems
Wow..I adore how someone so young is into Queen..particularly their 70s era..who were around way before he was born..keep it up young man. I would love to know how he came to hear Queen in the first place?... wow. How about Stone Cold crazy???
Thank you! I’ve always like them since i was about 8! They are a top 3 band of mine! Yeah Stone Cold Crazy is a great song!! I might have to show it to him. -S
interesting that a young son would show this to his father and not the other way round. great. there´s a lot of those lesser known gems on their 4 main albums (subjective, my personal taste): a night at the opera, a day at the races, news of the world and jazz.
You've dug deep with this one! Love this song...as with the whole album. Really can't go wrong with any Queen!! One of my faves off this is Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together) - beautiful track, and for something HEAVY - White Man and of course, Tie Your Mother Down! You've got a great taste my man!! Keep up that musical education, with an open mind!!
I love this song soooooo much. Love the music, lyrics, harmonies - everything. Roger Taylor says this song was more difficult to put together than Bo Rhap. A Day At The Races is my favourite album.
I'm with the son. love this song. It's so creative and very Freddie in my opinion. I like all the change ups of tempo and the different guitar parts and of course Freddie's singing.
Love to see you react to more Queen, but if you already know a lot of their songs why not watch a live version. White Queen live at Hammersmith 1975 would be my suggestion a great version of a lesser known song. Love your reactions though whatever you choose!
Finding a bad Queen song is less likely than humans suddenly being able to fly. But I agree, it's not what I listen to in daily life - and I'm a huge Queen fan. A lot of their songs are something you need to sit down and really pay attention to. Maybe with a good beverage. It doesn't have the same effect when you're only using it as a backdrop (to paraphrase Radio Gaga) - and I think that's why their more straight forward rockers are the famous ones
I love this song because it is so special and versatile and with special harmonies. It`s Queen's power to create multi-part sound works with different styles. This is a great musical creation. Completely new, interesting and professional. Thanks for the great comment!
What you said at the start is so true, I only knew their hits mostly, and when I started to listening some of their records I was surprised, that how many great song they have besides! This is definitely one of them.
Wow a ‘Deep Cut’ 👍🏼 Cool song. I didn’t know this one. I love when the heavy guitar kicks in. The Police is another band that has way more good songs in their catalog that aren’t ‘Hits’. Nice reaction 🤙🏼
I love to watch your reactions , especially this young man's ,seems like he lives every song. Please check any Bucket Head song ,your perspective of life won't be the same after that experience.
I'd like to hear you react to Stone Cold Crazy (live version) or how about Cool Cat. These would illustrate how diverse Queen's music developed over the years and how Freddie's voice could project that diversity in such an amazing way.
Love this! Can you do ‘March Of The Black Queen’ or ‘White Queen?’ Both opposite sides of Queen II, my fav Queen album! Brian and Freddie contrast nicely as songwriters 🎼 🎶!!! Love your reaction!
Thanks for that. "Night at the Opera" was the first album I ever bought, so I guess I must have bought this one about a year later when it first came out. I haven't heard this song for many years, so thanks for sharing and bringing back a musical memory.
you're so right, their best songs are the hidden gems; have you heard the Prophet's song? Great one to share with your dad; also anything from the Jazz album or Sheer Heart Attack
@@fatherandsonreactions I was totally fascinated by The Prophet's Song 42 years ago when I bought A Night at The Opera. I would listen to it every day after I got home from school (10th grade) like clockwork.
@@clintonsmith5163 same here; I had an obsession with the song, headphones were a must. Glad I discovered this video, I forgot how good Millionaire Waltz was !!!
Jeune homme, tu es formidable !!! Continue de faire l'éducation de ton père... Freddie était un compositeur, un chanteur, musicien hors norme et avec un tel charisme !!! Tu as raison, cette chanson n'est pas assez connue et reconnue...
I will turn 59 tomorrow ,watching you getting into Queen reminds me of how I was 47 years ago the first time I heard Queen ( Killer Queen/ Flick of the Wrist ) way back in 74 ! 😉
This was a nice tune! I'm always down for piano. By the way, MUSE is pretty widely considered to be this generation's Queen, and Matt Bellamy (the vocalist) is the closest we have to Freddie Mercury. ;) The Muse request I gave doesn't have Piano, but Matt is an excellent pianist and Muse has a bunch a songs with Piano in it. (the request I gave does have a harmonica intro, though. So maybe that offsets. :P) I still suggest to start with the Muse request I gave, but if you want a song with piano in it, there are a plethora I could request for you, too. :) And hey, hope you're not too hung up about your Dad not falling head over heels with the track. Sometimes that's a part of experiencing new music, allowing us to explore new things, and if some here and there don't completely work, that's okay! At least we all gave it a shot! Music speaks to everyone in different ways. I enjoyed it though, for what it's worth. So thank you for at least sharing it with me and everyone else. 🙂
Thos one has a nice rock-and-roll carnival feel to it. Sure, not everything Queen did was likeable. But hey, it's Queen, so either way, it's undeniable. Great reaction as always, much love&respect!
Hi Ron! Never thought of it as a “carnival feel” type song! That’s a great description for a song like this! Stay safe and take care! We love seeing you here! 💛💛-S
Wow thumps up to the son! You have great taste! This is an amazing song, it think it might have been a bit better if you did the lyric video, where you can also see the lyrics. The amount of expression Freddie uses in this is out of this world. He sings every line in a different manner. Some of the same words repeat through the song, and if you listen closely you will notice how he sings it differently every time. He uses different colours and tones throughout. Just from the singing alone this a masterpiece. The songs has an amazing bass line, the piano also shows Freddie's skill on the piano, and the guitar orchestra is amazing, the symbols of the drums is an nice touch. But this might be a song that you have to listen to more then once, there is a lot going on so perhaps you might not get it at first. Perhaps guys you should out Ogre Battle live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975 for something more hard rocking ru-vid.com?search_query=ogre+battle+queen.
Great song, quality reaction. You know, if you had to phone a call centre and were put on hold while this played away, you'd be a little upset to hear "Good afternoon, how may I help you?".
If I were calling a suicide hotline and they put me on hold while this song played, and then they interrupted it to say "good afternoon, how may I help you?" I would tell them: "You can help me by putting the damn song back on! Never mind the other thing!"
@@fatherandsonreactions - Deaky always gets no mention. The interplay of piano and bass in the intro....and throughout....is masterful. Deaky's bass carried their songs. He was a ROCK and their secret weapon.
This is a Queen song that I have never heard before. It sounded really good but since I'm not familiar with it, I can't say I'd call it a favourite. Maybe it's a grower and if I listen to it a few more times, it might become a favourite...who knows? There are so many old classic bands that I've only heard a song or two from...the ones that get played on the radio, but I'm sure there are some real gems out there waiting for me to discover them. Reaction channels like this really help to uncover such gems. Keep up the good work. Here's a suggestion: Boston - Smokin' (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rmzDww6glq8.html). Cheers!
Hey mike! You maybe right! It could be a grower. they have a lot of song that need to grow on you. thank you for the compliment! Also we’ve gotten a TON of requests for Boston! So who knows? -S
Love that song and anything by Queen. Please do a reaction to Love Me with all your heart by Malinda and Jew Jam or any song by them. You will really appreciate them. Thanks.
I was hoping you guys would get around to doing some Queen. I think I see now, though, why it took so long: you both are already pretty familiar with Queen's stuff, and you prefer reacting to songs that one (or both) of you have never heard before. Plus, I sense that Dad isn't that big a fan of Queen, just as he isn't that big a fan of Yes.
That kind of Genius just doesn't exists anymore in today's world of Over quantized and Auto-tuned junk today. Queen were trailblazers, and were to rock pop music what Mozart was to classical.
Hey there fellas! Queen is an acquired taste in my opinion....and I've never acquired that taste. I know I'm in the minority because of their record sales and fan base. I still enjoyed the review. I'm hangin' in there hoping to hear you react from Boston's first album.
