I love “It’s Me Again Margaret”. I swear that Face Mr. Steven’s makes as he’s dialing from the jail just cracks me up every time! Can still remember watching these with my grandparents in the 90s! Such great memories, I thank you for them!

Ray Stevens actually goes back to the early sixty's with his first hit Ahab the Arab. I was about 14 then but it got a lot radio play. As a kid, I thought Ray Stevens was great.
Ray Stevens was was truly an original. His series songs are just as good as his comedic songs. "Misty" "Sunday Morning coming down." "Everything is beautiful" "Comedic "Its Me again Margret" "The Streak" "Theme to Canonball Run" "Guitarzan" "Harry the harry ape"
It's me Margaret ,Staying up with the dead,I'm my own Grandpa and The Streak. Ray writes hilarious songs but if you listen closely to the lyrics a lot are social commentaries.
