I also do kind of remember in Monti's interview, she said she pretty much only knew how to make lots of apple pies before the audition, which might be why other contestants felt she was a fluke. After she got passed an audition, she did a lot of homework and research but not much cook practice because she had to take care of her son. But damn to be able to do so well in this competition in such short period of time, I think this takes a lot of talent and luck.
See As See, I still remember Monti struggled with her composure during Christine's "Rubbish Pie" segment. Deeply respect Gordon Ramsay for giving Christine the confidence that she didn't realize that was within her. IMHO, that changed her life forever.
People often asked me if the challenges were as stressful as they seemed and I always answer filming was actually more stressful than what the camera portrayed!
yay! I already played this on Twitch later that night, but I couldn't comment... YES!! John should try out for Master Chef! if you're really worried about the judges comparing you to Christine, then you should have some snappy responses ready for them! think of it as a way to promote the restaurants!

Yay! Been waiting for Cindy to be a guest for the reaction videos. Hopefully she'll be available for the remaining episodes, absolutely love these videos.
I finished watching season 3 not too long ago for the first time, and it's great to be able to watch your reaction to it!! I love the insights and stories from Cindy, so great to hear how stressed she was for you. Would love to hear all the dirt and funny stories you and Cindy have on Gordon 👀
This may sound stupid but I felt like she talked a little bit too much and not at the best times. This was probably the worst video in terms of actually reacting to the episode. Most of the talk was about other things than what happened in the episode.
the rabbit competion made me think of maybe hasenfeffer? I was actually surprised nobody tried that. I've never made or had it... but I do know sauerbraten. I make it a few times a year, except I bastardize the gravy (hey... remember there's a STRONG German heritage in Cincinnati!). oh, of course sauerbraten has a LONG marinade time. maybe hasenfeffer does too.
I ❤️ you Christine!!! And Cindy!!! These reactions are the best!! One thing I will say: if you are gonna talk for a couple minutes about something, please pause the episode. I ❤️❤️❤️ watching these but it’s hard to follow while the episode is going and you guys are talking
Girl the restrictions sound horrific and unnecessary! They should have given you and Cindy a lot more leeway and a lot less dogmatic. It sounds like they completely missed the point of what the ADA and reasonable accommodations are supposed to provide! I’d have been absolutely livid!
21:52 I know he told you what's on the plate, but did he tell you what locations he put them in or how it's layered out? I'm basically asking if he did a good enough description of what it looks like. Because to me it looks like orange raindrops shapes with a white line through the middle. with 5 rabbit parts that is in a 5 dotted pattern in when you roll a 5 on die and in the other plate have these small orange dots with green stuff on top of it like it came from a fancy restaurant. I hope that gives you a good idea what it looks like.
Wait, there's lobster in the MC pantry? Regularly? Or did y'all only get the expensive stuff once in a while, but most of the time it's the regular sort of ingredients?
🤨What a dumb question, Cindy was her guide on the show because she can’t see. You’re obviously not paying attention to this video because she’s clearly said she can’t see, and just so you know Christine suffers from an autoimmune disease that attacks the optic nerves in the eyes therefore she’s unable to see.😒
