The state of SADF is very dire. the president shouldn't have deployed our troops to neighboring countries in those conditions. The troops are vulnerable and are being killed easily.

I am pleased to see Gen. in the new Governement. His experience will show the military how they should perform and be of value. All parties must stop squabelling and get on with the job at hand. Only and Only Service delivery will tell which party deserves to rule this country.

Yeah we should push it up to 30 and 35 for those with degrees but really we need capabilities we have an airforce that no longer flies and of the 5 tank battalions only 2 can be fielded we need to bring up 1 more to readiness we don't know when Mozambique will call us again and the Congo is still not settled SA needs to upgrade itself on all fronts we are the backbone that holds up th3 SADC region

Whether we call it GNU or Grand Coalition, the fact is that it is almost representative of the voters will. The next 5 years are going to be tough with EFF and MK in the opposition benches but if the parties in government work together, we are sure to see some changes and service to the people of this country. The elephant in the room is how DA and FF+ will work towards transformation of our economy and the country in general.
What i can't understand is why the president loves putting women in the Defence Force as Ministers. All 3 of these ministers dont and never had a clue of defence, including the 2 previous ministers. I hardly listen to him because his speeches are always disastrous seriously. Heres Holomisa why didnt he make him the minister instead of Angie deputy. Mxm!
The general would certainly be the minister of defence had he not endorse mr red overall over the actual president, I say it serves him right to be the deputy
It seems like Ramaphosa has appointed these ministers without analysing the outcome of making more exerienced persons deputies of people with no experiece let alone the age, of people like Angie deputised by General of soldiers That is an embarrasment at its best..
Yes, because they are all old folks that need to go and rest and let young people take over, and those that's in the late 30's and mid 40's. So they are all bad. We can't be government by old people that need to rest and can't walk anymore.
