Regarding the video, it's movie "Sampo" from 1959. It's about Finnish national epic/mythology "Kalevala". As an interesting note, J.R.R Tolkien has admitted that he was greatly influenced by Kalevala in regards of the Lord of the Rings. Sampo can in a way be compared to the One Ring, basically it was a machine that had great functions/powers that you could utilize.
This is originally an old Karelian folk melody for "kantele" (a traditional Finnish string instrument). The melody imitates the sound of Konevitsa monastery bells, how it sounded on Sundays when echoing over Lake Ladoga (old Karelian area Finland lost in the war). My grandmother always started to cry when hearing this melody.
Wow, now we're grooving.. Piirpauke! Thanks for reacting to this one! Sakari Kukko is the mastermind of Piirpauke. He has travelled the world playing with fantastic musicians. By the way, I found the video which was totally unrelated to the music itself very distracting.
