2102 is at it again with another freight move. From Tamaqua to Reading with mostly coal loads. Also included is YJNR kicking cars and NRFF with plenty of power

Its rare to see a steam locomotive pull frieght without a diesel. it's a pretty rare sight and i hope they continue to do this for years to come!

It’s very nice to see 2102 do what she was designed to do pull long freight and passenger trains one of my favorite things about 2102 is that she has two whistles Reading single hooter chime and her Reading six chime whistle both have their individual chords blown by the engineer in the cab

A steam engine with freight and a caboose. Not as fancy or flashy as a modern double stack pulled modern diesels. But an elegant consist for a more civilized age.

gaht daym she's got insane pulling power (she could haul 124 loaded reading htj hoppers with up a grade with ease that's how much power she had)

2 Whistles in general. A RDG Passenger 6 chime and a RDG single chime Hooter. The former is mainly used during the excursions and the latter was not only it's stock whistle but is also mainly used on the freight runs. The dual mount was fitted by the Reading in the 60s during the Reading Railroad iron horse rambles.

Dang that sucks. I almost didn't make it but I had just enough time to chase it as it was on the way to where I needed to go that afternoon anyway (Ukrainian homestead in Lehighton)
