Good call, that was the first thing he combated lolol Musk put out a failsafe button for reporting that a little while back, it was headline news (in indie headlines) but its been up for a while, lots of videos on it outside the MSM news. Why wouldnt the msm news cover that? seemed like important information that COULD help people form their own opinions.
i was thinking this, matt first became famous for calling goldman sach's a vampire squid. but then maybe its just dame's type of humor to deny he was a known journalist before this.
So happy you are covering this. Elon Musk has single handedly become the most transparent big tech platform owner ever with what he did last night. I couldn't imagine Facebook or Instagram doing the same, despite both of them also receiving pressure from government officials to censor content. It was disturbing (but not surprising) to see democrats admit that they don't value the first amendment in those leaks.
@@FeeshCTRL So what? Is Elon's Twitter a free-speech platform or not? Elon can prove how transparent he is by releasing his private messages with Jonathan Greenblatt.
@@ajshdhenskaka Yes, you are allowed to speak your mind, but you don't cry when there are consequences for your actions. That's like if I were to hypothetically go into a bar or any other populated area, and say "I hate black people!" or "I hate Mexicans!" and expect not to get stomped by the people around you. "Oh I was just expressing my first amendment right! Free speech!!!!! This is America right???!!!!!!!" You're an idiot if you think you can just do or say whatever you want to others just because you have the legal right to do so without any repercussion for it
Hoping there's a team combing through all internal coms and giving every one of these people the employment banhammer. Also, where are those charges for lying to Congress?
Matt Taibi used to work at Rolling Stone. He's an actual journalist with integrity, so he no longer works for Rolling Stone. By no means a "small guy". He is well known.
Dame, my man. Don’t use The Wayback Machine. The owner is related to WaPo “reporter” Taylor Lorenz. Use another archival service. It’s how I was able to share the NY Post story.
I believe he knows but WBM is still bigger unfortunately so it often has more luck in someone pushing the archive button...is and .today are getting better and better tho. I swear he used all of them the last video? or somewhere recently.
@@DamePesos Yup, Taylor Lorenz’s uncle owns The Wayback Machine. It’s why you can’t find any of her deleted tweets on that particular archival service. I prefer Archive Dot Today, plus it’s a great way to deny them ad revenue.
The tornado in the water is called a whirlpool. Can you say squirrel? Always funny when Germans try to say that word (they can't), haven't seen a lil taco try
Hunter brought a broken laptop to a repair shop, signed the contract promising to pay for repairs or property will belong to the repair shop owner, and he would have had to provide all the passwords. Everyone knew from the beginning it wasn't hacked. Then Hunter's lawyer tried to get the laptop back from the repair shop owner, confirming it was legitimately his. This sht is so tragically hilarious, couldn't be written.
