This is an acccurate way to load the MP5, IF the magazine is loaded to a maximum of 29/28 rounds. If Void implemented that realism that would be cool. However, the typical reload for a full 30 round mag is to lock the handle to the rear because doing so relieves the tension being put on the top round in the magazine which has no “give” due to the mag being at maximum capacity
Love the handling but I really need to let you guys know that it is very difficult IRL to put a loaded mag into an MP5 with the bolt closed. Most training teaches people to pull the charging handle into the locked position to open the action, insert the loaded mag and then drop the charging handle to load the weapon.
@@mrtakeaminute6815 That old gas map won't come back officially but they might put it on Steam Workshop when the game is done. Also the current gas station map is not the last gas station that they going to make.
@@rachel6301 yeah, I can't wait to see how this game will be in say a year or 2 from now, gameplay wise and content wise. There is a map mod being created which is a small convenient store which I am excited about. I really want heaps of small maps in this game. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-30CFb0bASnw.html&ab_channel=LoafLord
Love your attention to damage and debrees and smoke. My only gripe is that the smoke / dust in room disappears a bit too quick. Would be nice to have a tad smoke stay in the room much longer
MP5 in 9MM has tame recoil, very controllable, even for a child to use. The lack of pulling the bolt to the rear before inserting a new mag, which then is not followed by a slap...is disapointing. Insurgency has more realistic MP5K handling animation.
my god the game's looking good, love the lack of HUD, just the base basics of a compass which is beautiful : D the *only* thing that looked kinda weird were the cartridges in the magazine, seem too bright but maybe its just me
Looks great, i would just say that reloading animation when the mag goes empty is fairly unrealistic. No one reloads an MP5 with a full mag with the bolt closed, not that its impossible but makes it considerably more difficult to pull off because of the pressure on the bolt. That's why 90% of the people who shoot it pull the bolt back, insert the mag and then do the "H&K Slap" on the bolt
YES. Finally, a game with fast reload mechanics that actually SPEED UP the reload significantly, unlike EFT and other games where it's not even worth it to double-tap R. Like, dropping a mag for half a second quicker reload? F**k that, this game makes it a lot faster and worth it. You guys are doing gods work! Cant wait to play the game. Cheers!
Dark Shift Music Damn right. I played Insurgency Sandstorm Closed Alpha and the speed reload isn't that much faster than the regular reload, glad Void gets it right.
I like the way he looks at the mag to see how much is left. Very cool idea. Could be used in a hyper realist survival game where there is almost no hud.
The Mp5 doesn't have "burst-firing-mode", based on my knowledge and their website! But the animations and the magazie checking feature, are looking great
Ammo check: He takes the mag to check the ammo. Tactical Reload: Where he takes off the mag (still with ammo) and places the old one in the holster and the new one on the gun. Quick reload: The generic reload used in firefights. Good luck devs, I hope you make this game like SWAT 4 and not turn into Siege. I'm counting on you guys.
Genuine feedback, this is all fantastic except the last animation: it's too fast and arcadey, it looks like something out of F.E.A.R. I rewatched it several times in slowmo and I think the issue is the pull on the bolt handle being way too short. This looks bloody great though, keep up the good work.
It might be a little too fast but I'd say it makes sense, it's like in Escape From Tarkov where you can double tap R for a faster reload but you drop the magazine.
Well, on a trained officer it will look just as fast. The thing with the short pull on the bolt is, that there are just 4-8 cm to pull on the MP5. Watch /watch?v=CofI70hK2ls for a comparison. Most games just slow the process down for Gameplay reasons.
I think what is wrong is the magazine direction. The empty one is being thrown forward, while the hand animation makes it seems like it should go sideways.
it would be cool if you wanted to check ammo, you could hold down the button ( if there was one ) and the longer you held it the more accurate a reading of ammo you would get as opposed to general terms edit: k nvm, just read the blog. im stupid. it would still be cool if you could count your bullets too
I think the pistol viewmodel takes up a bit too much of your screen. Maybe hold it out a little further like how it looks in csgo. The guns look great though! Wow
Kyriolexical Dino I doubt it since every scenario could be different and it would be unrealistic to have the same spray.maybe similar sprays but not an exact one
love the animation , great transitions , but i have to say you guys went hardcore with the mp5 recoil , in real life my 5 year old son have more recoil control than this SWAT guy lol
Will this game have weapon malfunctions? Will this game have in-depth preplanning similar to 'Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield'? What was the indication for the mag being low?
the charge is way too short and lame looking. and the rear aperture is all wrong. for an otherwise fantastic model with good animations, that is really disappointing. also, no HK slap
domwizzle Even with open pouches no SWAT officer would reload that fast. Not saying it's impossible to reload that fast, but that kind of speed is something you see in speed reload competitions... I am not trying to be too picky (well I am... I have high hopes for this game) but I just hope they make it just a little bit slower.
@@descriptiondescriptiondescript but the adrenaline? The urgency to get another mag in or die? And sadly it cant be unrealistic if swat instructor and military vets have videos teaching you how to speed reload. And they are hella fast
