Man! This is a must see. I was a child of the 80's and had the privilege to watch the world change during the cold war and see Reagan, Tatcher, Miterrand and Gorbachev in action (for good and bad).

Dennis Quaid did an incredible job with the voice. I just hope he managed to pull off the twinkle in his eye too, because that's more Reagan than the cadence and sound.

Not many may remember, but Dennis Quaid played Bill Clinton in the 2010 movie "The Special Relationship" which was about the relationship between Tony Blair and Bill Clinton. Now he gets to play Ronald Reagan. Dennis Quaid definitely has range.

I was an extra in a few scenes 🎥🎬 I was a bar tender and server at the Copa Cabana in 1941 & 1943, hopefully I’ll get a few seconds of screen time! Also, I was a photographer during the scene where he gives a speech just before going outside and getting shot in 1981. They filmed the movie in 2020 with a lot of it shot in Guthrie, OK at a giant, creepy, old Masonic lodge. They had to shut down filming at least once when some of the crew got Covid. We had to come up and get Covid tested 😷 2 days prior to anytime we came on set for wardrobe fitting or filming scenes. It was quite a hassle but there were plenty of other extras who drove much farther than I did. As to why it was delayed for 4 years, idk 🤷🏼‍♂️ maybe riding the wave of an election year and hoping the nostalgia brings people to the box office? Either way, it was a really cool experience and I’m excited to see the film! 🙌🏼

I hope the movie has the "Time for Choosing" speech. It's one of my favorite speeches of all time!

Dennis Quaid will be incredible as Ronald Reagan!

At 18 my first vote ever for President in 1980. By 1984 I was tank platoon leader on the East German border. We LOVED him and knew he LOVED us, and the USA! Sorry you younger guys missed this golden age.

The fact that Reagan was near sighted, made the fact he was lifeguard that much funnier!

This was filmed 4 years ago. That's never a good sign, but you never know until you actually see the film.

This movie Principal photography took place almost 4 or 5 years ago . It's about time !

Reagan was the man. One of the great presidents of our time.

I am/was/always will be a huge Reagan supporter (and proud to have voted for him). I hope the movie shows what I call "the last good Democrats" as it was Tip O'Neill and Les Aspin who lead Congress to give him the money for "Star Wars" (Strategic Defense Initiative) which is what let him "start the war without a shot". With the money and Star Wars the USSR/Soviety Union KNEW they could not compete. They had to surrender to the fact that we had technology that would make their best weapons (ICBMs) useless. This was an era when Reagan "The Great Communicator" and those few powerful Dems worked across the aisle for a common good. The left/Democrats have gone off the rails, the term "compromise" has been redefined to mean weak as opposed to mutual benefit win- the likes of Schumer, Pelosi, Waters, Obama & Biden do not even comprehend. *Kudos to Dennis Quaid - a patriot and great actor. Reagan is a tough character to play, the trailer looks like he rocked it!

This protyal of the character Ronald Regan Done by Dennis quaid is so remarkable And very well executed with such talent and skill in the film 🎥 they should do a movie 🎥 squeal for this movie 🍿 also it says the world needs to fight back and stand up for there rights and never let their voices be silenced 🔇 by anyone else in this world

The best gift Reagan left us was not beating the USSR, although that one is definitely up there - but that he gave us the 80's, the music of this short decade would be replayed and sung for hundreds of years to come, and the spirit that sprang thereof would embody the American Dream and continue to inspire countless future generations.

So Denis Quad played Bill Clinton, and now Ronald Reagan. Interesting. Funny, Seems like in the last 10 or so years his roles have been either Admirals in the Navy or Presidents. XD Either way, pretty excited to see this film.

Iran sent back all the Hostages when Reagan was inaugurated. Reagan also stood up to the Soviets and won the cold war.

The problem here, I fear, is that they're trying to do Reagan's ENTIRE life. These cradle-to-grave bio pics rarely work week because there's just not enough time. It probably would have made more sense to focus on a specific part of his life. We'll see.

Ronald Reagan was US President for almost entire of my schooldays (1980 - 1990).

I hope this comes out to be good. I am older and I remember Ronald Reagan deeply and I don’t think anybody can really act and try to be him. I’m sure that probably Dennis is the best choice I don’t know? But since I know the heart and can feel it and the twinkling eyes and the interior joy of Ronald Reagan…. I don’t think that it can be copied or even imitated. So hopefully this will be good. I’m not sure I’m going to see it because I think it will ruin my thought process of dear President Reagan…which I love already.

This is gonna be epic. President Reagan was one of my heroes back in the 80s and he still is today. He saw the fall of the Soviet Union before anybody else, including the so-called experts. That’s called being a man of vision man instinct.

Yes, the choice music is a bit distracting and off; but Dennis Quaid lands the role of Reagan and makes this film magical on the big screen. I’m looking forward to seeing this film as it appears the film weaves Reagan’s life from his childhood and shows how it shaped him, his acting roles, Governorship and Presidency. So much to capture, but worthy of making and delivering next month! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

In the thumbnail, he looks more like a young Eddie Albert in profile. He and Reagan were friends and made a movie together called, Brother Rat (1938). He was 5 years older than Ronny. He "sort of" played him in the film, Dreamscape (which also has Dennis Quaid in it), but his hair had already gone white.

I can't wait. I have waited for this movie for so long. I have been keeping up with it since it was first announced. I have watched every interview, every bit of information that has been released. I fell in love with Ronald Reagan as a senior in high school, and now Reagan continues to inspire me. To remind me to be a better person, to be a better follower of Christ. Dennis Quaid will do an excellent job. I can already tell. This is my most anticipated movie of the year.
