That is a beautiful Chicago-style DEEP DISH. A stuffed pizza is about twice as thick, has the ingredients in the cheese layer, and no top crust under the sauce. Thicker bottom (usually with extra corn starch), about four inches of cheese and ingredients, sauce on top. Developed shortly after the original deep dish which is actually what is shown here. They are both delicious and props to this restaurant for apparently doing a decent recreation outside Chicago. Just had to be that guy today. 😊

I remember when I was in Vancouver hospital and this is what they brought. I was amazed because hospital food sucks where I live powdered eggs or maybe some burnt hash browns so getting a slice of pizza pie was amazing
Lol. My mom had to eat rubbery, flavorless eggs. She gave me a chicken sandwich when I visited. Man was it drier than a desert. Now my mom's ok and eats fresh eggs. The hospital sucks lol.

Lol..I was thinking the same thing..but his language sounds a bit different..middle eastern? Unless it's somebody else talking in the background. Listen closely... I asked both of my daughters to learn as many languages while in school... especially Spanish. I noticed how much the world was changing... receiving so many Spanish speaking immigrants into my country..USA. My youngest took me seriously and speaks it fluently. But this man is not speaking Spanish. I could be wrong..there are many different dialects.

Imagine this: There are versions of pizza without any of these incrediences, without cheese or without tomato sauce (because you can also use other fruit jams) and the versions without pepperoni are thousands. Best example, Lahmacun, often called "turkish pizza", which is more a pizza than this cheese pie in the video, consists of olive oil, grounded beef and onions as toppings.

Oh im so glad they actually waited for it to set before removing a slice. I see too often deep dish being sliced and eaten seconds after its out the oven and everything just melts and slides off of the pizza
