I don't know why this video made me cry. I think it's because it's so full of warmth and I love seeing how you guys interact and tenderly take care of sweet little Dove. You and Leo are doing such a great job as parents and I'm happy I get to see snippets of Dove's growth ;u;

she's adorable omg. i have some pieces of advice from my own experiences i'd like to share, so if you have the time, please sit down and read - it's quite the text. try to choose a specific lullaby to sing for Dove when she has nightmares as a baby and child, because it'll be way easier to calm her down when she gets older by singing that exact song, or humming it. my mum did that for me, and i was the type where you couldn't get into contact with me when i had nightmares, like i spoke, walked and cried but wasn't awake - more like half and half. still asleep but awake at the same time. horrifying. but by singing a lullaby she'd always sung for me, i instantly felt safe and calm, and i either woke up and went potty or fell right asleep again (most nightmares can be from having to pee as a child tbh) - so i'd recommend choosing a calming lullaby and singing it when she feels scared or unsafe, like after a nightmare. another thing is more like a warning: i can't stay with my parents when they're listening to very specific songs, which happen to be their favourites, because i listened to the exact same songs when i felt sad, maybe even terrified as a child. i was really insecure, quiet and sensitive, so i didn't like to escape my comfort zone - and when i was asked to do so, i obviously didn't feel comfortable, and if a song was playing at that exact moment (or any other scared, uncomfortable or sorrow-filled moment), it kind of left a print in my memories. so whenever i heard those specific songs again, the exact feelings would wash over me and i'd get in a bad mood. you don't just get over that type of stuff. so what i'm trying to say here is: don't listen to your favourite songs if Dove is sad, uncomfortable or scared as a _child_ - not a baby. it doesn't _really_ matter there, because i don't think she can understand situation to the extent a child can, so be careful around age 2-6. when Dove is older than, say 7-8, it doesn't really matter. the sensitive phase is over, because memories created there don't impact as much (from my own experience) - but around the younger years, almost every sound can 'save' a feeling in your body, so whenever you hear it again, you'll be thrown right back into that situation's feelings and aura. so be careful with the songs you listen to in those cases! sounds and songs can have, and _do_ have large impacts on Dove's (and every child's) life. choose wisely, as some choices can help in the future, and some can hurt her mentally (reminded of past bad instances) or just be kind of sad to have to give up listening to a banger, because it reminds her of a sad time. this isn't meant as fear-mongering or whatever, but just a tip from my personal experience! everyone's different, so take this however you want. i'd just like to chip in and help with some advice :>

She’s so so sweet. Have you tried a sleep sack for naps ?? My favorite is the muslin ones that are breathable for the spring/summer, along with a very dark room & blackout curtains. This has worked wonders for my girl who is 11 months now!!

you should do more tummy time as at 7 months she should ideally already be sitting up and crawling around. it’s not good to keep her in the activity centre or the jolly jumper all day as it doesn’t help engage her muscles and teach her any milestones. tummy time is the best thing you can do. and since in your videos you barely do it, is why she can’t sit nor crawl. most babies sit around 5 months. crawl around 6-7.
