I assumed, taht it wasn't the battery that went up in flames, but the dry grass around it. Obviously, this isn't one of those lithium polymer batteries you find in modern tech, so it might not even have exploded. Dry gras however beurns VERY quick, and there's SO much smoke coming from it.

Chrome’s battery isn actually a lithium battery (comes up later and I read the manga), it’s a combination of ‘Mangan’ batteries

well... maybe it's not your expertise, but it's possible to mathematically calculate how much an artist is selling if you know the right values... because Senku seems to have a photo-memory, he could recall some information from the past and, according to that, estimate how much she sold, of course you'll never get near the real value, but you can get close enough, specially if the artist is really popular, those values are made public fast... also it's known that there is a standard of how much money the artists get from their songs, the percentage is around 10% to 20% for each sale, yes, that's not much, Music Industry is hard, the good thing is that thanks to the internet that's changing, but very slowly... Senku was right on changing the plan from convincing Lilliam was alive to they have a recording of her singing that can be played, that was clever, otherwise they would have had many problems convincing her...

the method or the technique that senku use to calculate how much lilian make from her music company is called "Fermi Ad Hoc" or "Fermi Estimation" this is a scientific way to calculate with a minimun information. Enrico Fermi is the one who use this technique to calculate how much power does the atomic bom that was use in "trinity test"(idk what its call) cause and he calculate it without knownig any information of the atomic bom and his prediction was almost correct so what senkuu use in here is a fermi estimation and he use this with only a minimun information like how much did it cost to buy a seat on jaxa rocket. correct me if im wrong and sorry for my bad english. thanks for making new video about science and stuff like that i really like it keep the video coming.

That fermi estimation is a really interesting thing. I find the whole concept of working with minimum information, yet still yielding plausible results, to be a quite fascinating part of mathematics.

So to clear up one thing, Senku doesn't know how many labels she's actually sold. What he does is he just assumes Lillian spent about 10% of her income on the trip to space. And he makes the assumption she gets a standard cut. (how he knows what the standard cut is, I don't know) then does the reverse math to come to about 50 to 60 million. But he considers it a minimum rough estimate, that's why gen says "we had a 50 million celebration party recently." To play it off as "Lillian herself doesn't even really know exactly, but she would remember the last time someone made a big deal out of it."

Just a tip senku’s battery is a “mangan” battery and it has been pointed out that senku has a photographic memory and lilian is a close friend of byakuya that is why senku probably researched lilian for the sake of a new information

Part of the reason the battery could be shaped the way it is is that the people who are going to need the battery need to recognize it as such. That is something that in the Manga Senku uses quite a bit. Familiarity is important when conveying a lot of info very quickly.

4:30 but this is just their bag. Its clearly not the final container and it is not currently in use. Its safe to say that the phone's main casing will be stationary as it is hurried below ground so your criticism only applies to the initial jostling during installation.

I don't think the battery storage in the phone is really that much of an issue. It would be easy enough to shape the compartment for the battery inside the phone to fit the battery itself. It would just be drilling a cylindrical hole into a rectangular piece of wood and mounting that piece of wood inside a rectangular storage space.

We've only heard (i think) two songs so far. I don't know how many she has made, or how long she has been making music but I did look up some people I know. Katy perry made 41M from dark horse and taylor swift (one of the highest paid) made 185M in 2019 before taxes. I just looked up on google. One point for science! So, if she sells out stadiums, like we saw, but is just starting out because the power of fads, she could have made 60M in royalties. After all, dark horse came along wayyyyy after katy perry started making music. She most likely went to space as a publicity stunt to get her royalties to taylor swift levels, if possible.

The battery wasn’t a lithium battery they used manganese they found in the caves like they stated earlier in the season and even if it was a lithium battery when using a battery to start a fire as a wilderness trick to they use the battery to heat up a piece of wire so hot that it can catch the grass they laid it on on fire so the battery didn’t explode like he thought the electricity was just used so no toxic fumes were emitted into the environment and the air.

It's not that much of a complex thing, it's just an alternate path to calculate a number when you don't have enough data. Imagine you don't know what 7x6 equals, therefore, you're not able to give an answer. However, you DO know the answer to 7x5, from there, you can say 7x6 equals (7x5)+7, because that's how multiplication actually works. So, you solve the problem by using logic, and not by using "real" data. However, what Senku did has a extremely wider error margin, because he was just using the spaceship seat price as a base (50 million). Parting from there, he used the "If you can't buy it twice, you can't afford it" rule by Jay-Z, and assumed Lillian had 100 million dollars, and tried to make a proportion out of how much money a music artist actually makes from sold discs.

Yeah. The show falls apart when it doesn’t focus on the science. The whole “war” thing just isn’t that interesting and relies on a LOT of luck.

@Mr.ILikeSpam Yes but when Senku’s entire strategy seems to rely mostly on “getting lucky”, it undermines the show. Remember with the antibiotic and they had two ways to make it, the easy but chance-based way or the super tough and complicated but certain way and they went the latter? It would detract from the show if they just got lucky with trying the biological method rather than the chemical one.
