Real Ghostbusters 3D Printed Customs by Charlie's Custom Toy Shop 

Wow, that's very impressive. The pack rack is a great addition. I remember being a kid and being annoyed by how breakable the proton packs were and how the proton steams were permanently attached to the wands. These customs fix all that. And slime blowers! Yes! Now I wish I had kept all my old GB figures and Ecto-1 to add these custom accessories to.

I saw these on eBay a few days ago and was tempted to pull the trigger on a set, but hadn't seen the rack!! Now I'm sold!!! Great review sir!!

It was very satisfying buying those figures.

I just found a great Condition Ecto 1 for 40 bucks You inspired me to get the rack and 3D print proton packs.

I like the edit he made to where the yellow line comes out of the pack and into the neutrona wand. And the redesigned wand is much more practical.

That is a really cool Ecto1 and action figures, I absolutely love the animated series when it was on TV.

These are even more interesting than my collection of spores, molds, and fungi

I'm surprised that they didn't have that feature already on old Ecto, or have a slime thrower. It's great that there are fans out there doing these type of things. This makes the line look great!! It's pretty awesome to see that there re-releasing this line again, although I won't be getting them, I do appreciate that others in the fandom want them. We have 3d printing as adults to fix toys we had as kids but are now too old to play with them. Kids today don't even play with toys as much because it's all consoles and tablets.. if we had 3d printing in 80s/90s omg the gameplay would've been amazing!

From what I remember, to put on the proton packs, the pack as to be 90 degrees to the action figure, insert it, and then rotate it. They would snap on. I still have my G1 Real Ghostbusters in excellent condition. The packs always scared me for the reasons you mentioned.

Who else would replace the original streams with the new ones.😄

Holy crap that looks awesome

The guy who voiced Peter Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, also voiced Garfield in the Garfield cartoon. In the Garfield movies, he was voiced by Bill Murray, who also played Peter Venkman in the Ghostbusters movies.

Gota give it up for this designer purely just for the hours in CAD.

All very cool! Wish the guy who made these would also make packs that fit the figures that look more accurate to the show. I know the wand would be tricky. I remember a slimer figure that had a pack that was more accurate.

Would like to see traps with removable beams and a way to clip it to the ghostbuster. Of course ecto goggles and perhaps some kind of addition to the containment unit that would allow for the traps to be inserted.

That stuff is fantastic. Wish fulfillment for every kid who grew up playing with those Kenner Real Ghostbusters figures but were disappointed with the fragile packs. I lost mine a long time ago, but I picked up a reissue Hasbro Venkman at Target for nostalgia recently. These repro proton packs fit the reissue Hasbro figures too?

Just wow. 😲 I actually wish the new re-issue figures had these accessories. lol Great as it is to get the classic figures again, it really sucks to pay fifteen bucks each for them and still risk the breakage with the old proton packs...And I always hated the non removable streams- Looked really goofy when they had them just sticking up with the wands hooked on their backs. I'd love to see a little 3 D printed scaled Slimer too-like him as one of the little ghosts in the Ectoplasm containers since I always thought he should've been included with those to begin with. Roof accessories, proton packs, sliding trunk rack, new re-issues of the '86 toys.... My brain is melting. Btw, your Ecto-1 is in superb shape. Did you treat the plastic windows? Not a single clouded pane, looks brand new. Wish I still had mine, even though it was pretty beat-up by the end of the 80's. Fingers crossed for a Hasbro re-issue.

I wonder the Mattel proton packs fit in that rack.

Hi Michael, do you have any tips for removing sticky residue from Kenner Ghostbusters figures? I have a meager collection, just the four main Ghostbusters and Janine from the Fright Features line. I bought them brand new on card about a year ago and - brace yourself - opened them up. They're normally stored in acid-free plastic baggies when I don't have them out. Although essentially new toys, they're old and most of the figures are sticky to the touch due, I assume, to the aging plastic. Can this residue safely be cleaned off? Will it dry up if I leave the toys out in the open long enough? Appreciate your advice!

All this stuff looks really a! It make me want to dig out my old ghost busters toys. That was always my issue with the toys is that I had later version that didn't have the accessory s I wanted

It's so weird that I never broke the Proton streams (by accident) nor the wands' handles on my RGBs figures. I recently learned how to fix the streams and had I known back then how to I would had, because I in fact cut off the Streams off and the reason was that I detested that we had to clip the wands upside instead of downwards. I obviously kept the end where one would spin the streams because they were supposed to be the handles of the wands. Now if I had kept my figures I would had fixed the streams to give them a "removable feature" which was what I had learned to do recently. Another idea I had was to sculpt the wands to be more cartoon accurate, but still inserting the stream end that could slide from the bottom of the handle and still have the removable feature of the streams for more playability...I guess if I am able to get my hands on the reissues I may then start some customizing of that.
