I currently live in a city, but I'm a village guy. Living in a village is hard work, but it's honest work. I miss it very much. So I decided to "bring the village to me". I grow strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, topinambourg, and diverse herbs in my front yard. I plan on growing potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, and other vegetables in the back yard next year. I'm not doing it to feed my family. The space is too small for that. I'm doing it to remember "how" to do it and to teach my six years old son how it's done. For now, he loves eating the fruits, and he is beginning to understand that you have to care for the plants if you want to have a good harvest. Thank you! I love your contents! What I see here, is very different from Danish agriculture, which is very industrialized, specialized and mechanized. Some Danes would probably say, that this is like going back to the 1930ties here. But this is exactly what Ukraine could benefit from after the war has ended - anti-stress, eco-farming holidays. There is a great potential here. Greetings from Denmark 🇩🇰🇺🇦

Strawberries look great. We used to pick them and split in half with the owner or you could buy them outright. The wheat looks great, the whole world has felt the negative effects of the war and loss of crops from Ukraine. Stay safe. GOD bless all Ukrainian people. 😎✌️

This reminds me so much of Western New York, where the land is often flat, with good farming soil. We're just finishing up strawberry season, and I've spent many hours picking them to make jam for the year!

I grew up in a Greek village... watching your village I remember mine.. so familiar! I really want to visit Ukraine after the Victory, and of course, I won't miss the Great Crimean Party that will last the all next Summer to bring us all together and celebrate but most of all I want to visit rural west Ukraine, close to Poland, I really love that off-grid vibe, like centuries ago feeling, no cars, no roads, basic friendly shops, and people, we've lost that feeling anymore where I come from, and if I get lucky I'd like to even stay somewhere there, a few solar panels and some modest modern comforts can make wonders for an old geezer like me, simplicity is all! that's what I say!... and I've seen a lot!

It's my dream to see and talk personally to Taya Ukraine, i love her how she speak english.

It's these videos of simple village life things that I like best. They remind me so much of when I was young, visiting my aunt's and uncle's and grandparents' farms and houses, on my mother's side. Both my father's and mother's side of the family were farmers but these images remind me of my mother's side. I suspect it might have something to do with the fact that they came from some part of Ukraine, long long ago, they say when the Tzar was persecuting them. Anyway.. These videos bring back childhood memories so strongly. I often think I would really love to go and buy some land somewhere like that and make my own house and gardens. I am American. I don't know if this is possible but, if it is, maybe when I get a bit older... or maybe when the war is over.

I enjoyed your video Taya. Village life looks so laid back and quite compared to big city life. I live in a huge city of over 1M people and you are surrounded constantly by buildings, noise, cars and the frenetic pace of life. Village life appears to be so peaceful and idyllic.
