My ex needs to learn this: he was selfish, self-obsessed, power-hungry, status oriented to the exclusion of those who loved, valued, respected and cherished him - he just took, took, took but gave nothing of himself (yes, his coercively controlling parents screwed him up REAL good), but hopefully they’re pushing up daisies now and he’s free of them. And boy, will he regret what he lost!

@walkertranger5746 sounds more like "not the right fit for her." Love is a verb and a choice, not simply a feeling. Some people are too consumed about the toxic relationship they are addicted to. If you don't heal from those that cut you, you will bleed on those who didn't. You can't heal or fix someone who isn't participating in their own healing. Hurt people hurt other people.

It's not hard at all. I don't understand the fact that we have to say this? Is other people's definition of love then what I would consider basic emotional intelligence and common decency?
