Curious how working at Canva looks like? Check out my WEEK IN THE LIFE OF CANVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XA5muKc98Fg.html 😄
4:50 Haha! I did the same rookie mistake to list all of things I could do after uni. The first thing my potential employer did was to test my skills in very time constrained manner :D
Yup! Totally possible. It's usually the easiest if you have only one year of your degree left but there are companies that don't even look at that. From my experience Australia is pretty strict with the "one year left" rule while in Europe you can apply and get an internship at any point in time.
Thanks for sharing, this is awesome information. I’m really interested in Canva too but still a long journey for me! By the way , the package was 2017 , I’m more curious about your current one🤣
@@KaroCodes I would love to also make another video suggestion (just watched your software engineering vs computer science video, very insightful indeed) on MS Computer Science/Info Systems vs MBA
Hey ! Are you a permanent resident If not then on which visa ? Do tech emloyers provide some visa ..? + part time opportunities as a developer while doing bachelors.?
Hey! Yup I'm a permanent resident but I was on a temporary employer-sponsored visa before. Most medium and big tech companies will sponsor visa. Part time opportunities pre-grad are mostly for people who already have rights to work in Australia, this is mostly due to the government regulations.
